Unfortunately technology however doesn't stand still. Its about the only thing where "if its not broke" doesn't fit unfortunately (well, fortunately for me I guess as thats how I make a living). Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the post and encourage posts like these, Im just saying that the site has changed previously also and the last version that people liked, was actually disliked when it was first introduced. 

Reality is it will take some time getting used to and on top of that I have worked on the previous design for over 2 years. Im not gonna finish this thing over night   . There are a lot of new things to come, a lot of design changes to come. Ads I can't really speak for as they have always been present on both the new and the old version.

For activity btw, its always quiet at this time of year. Same goes for pretty much every forum and its actually the reason I'm doing all this stuff now rather than in 6 month time.

What you will notice from the above are the people who don't like it tend to be the people who are on here the most or do not like any change in the first place. It will take some getting used to and the version we were previously on people didn't like when we first moved to it either. Also bare in mind that its early days, so there is still a lot I am updating at present.

As for the ads, the site is free and has to pay for itself somehow. This is why sponsors don't see ads

If you take look at the top of any topic on the right, there is a new button which you can click which will tell you who viewed the topic.

You will now notice that there is a new page on the site called home (look at the links at the top). Also when you visit www.husky-owners.com this is where you will be directed first of all. I have added this to give the site a central hub where you can gain information about what is going on. You will find on there updates of all sorts, along with a streaming live feed of anything that happens on the site at the top (no refresh needed for that area, it updates itself).

Hopefully you will find this a little easier to find out whats new on the site.

As always, any feedback, please shout up.

As for latest topics, you should be able to see them at the top of the forum, but that will become rather redundant this weekend Watch this space

You need to clear the cache on your browser. The CSS is missing from that which is a cached version of the site from yesterday. The theme on this version is actually the same regardless of what browser you are using unlike previously where there was a mobile version of the skin that switched. Resize the browser to the size of a tablet or mobile and you will see what I mean by that.

Yeah, found the cause and it was logging an error more than once a second

Yup. Not just by a bit either

What ever it was, it was also the cause of the performance issues by the look of it

We are back online. There are a few bits that you will find are missing, however I wont be adding them back in until later, if not weekend as something was causing issues and not adding stuff back until I know exactly what.

Removed the feed for images for the time being whilst I work on some performance improvements for this.
