A little later than usual with running the competition this year because ..... well .. I forgot LOL.

For those who dont know we have a bit of a competition each year between us F1 fans (and anyone else who wants to join in) throughout the year. Each week you place your bets, and each week you get points for those bets. simple as that.

So the rules are:

All players must have their 'bets' in before the start of qualifying (Saturday), if they are posted after this session starts they will not be counted.

Points will be awarded as follows:

Qualifying

• Guess 1st = 10 points
• Guess 2nd = 5 points
• Guess 3rd = 1 point

Race

• Guess 1st = 25 points
• Guess 2nd = 18 points
• Guess 3rd = 15 points
• Guess 4th = 12 points
• Guess 5th = 10 points
• Guess 6th = 8 points

Please place your bets for each race by copying and pasting the above format which will be at the top of each race thread

OK peeps, we've had this game before so I thought I would start a new one

The idea is to draw something on a piece of paper based on what someone else is telling you to draw (in this case the last person to win)

REQUIREMENTS

• 1 x basic paint package. All system have these so something like paint for windows, paintbrush for mac etc - or a piece of paper will do.

RULES

BASICS:- The game host will describe to you what you have to draw in basic shapes and lines in order to get to the items he/she is thinking of. All you have to do is draw the description on your peice of paper. The host may only give another item to draw on the page 3 posts after he/she has done the last one, and the 3rd person can if they like "pass" which will class as a guess. First person to guess the item wins. Try to make the images basic otherwise will become impossible to guess

EXAMPLE (in this case the host has mentally picked a car for their item):

HOST:  In the bottom left about 20% of the page in, draw a circle

Player1: Ball

HOST: Wrong

Player1: sunrise

Player2: HulaHoop

HOST: Both Wrong. About 20% in from the other side of the page draw another circle

Player1: 2 Balls

HOST: Its still not a bloody ball

Player 2: Eggs?

Player 3: Pass

HOST: WRONG. Join the 2 circles across the page starting and ending at the mid point of the circles

Player 1: Skateboard?

HOST: Wrong

Player 2: Scooter?

HOST: Wrong

Has anyone else tried these 30 day challenges that you can get on your phones as apps, and if so which have you done?

So far I've downloaded.

1. 30 day squat challenge
2. 30 day abs challenge
3. 30 day back challenge
4. 30 day arm challenge

All of them basically give you a set amount of exercises to do each day with a few rest days to strenthen set areas of your body. So for example the squat one which Im on day 1 for at the moment starts at 50 squats on day one and ends with 250 on day 30 (provided I havent died LOL)

Just a quick message to say please can you ensure that you email address on the site is up to date. Hi all,

Just a quick message to let people know that Linda has now stepped down as moderator on the forum.

Linda has clearly been an excellent member of staff on this site and has been on staff since very very early days, however it has come to the point when she simply hasn't got the time anymore to do it. She's gone through camps with us, meets, shows, and many many other things that we have done over the years so I would personally like to say thank you for that and you have made a massive difference to this forum as a whole over the years.

Time moves on for people. Something we all learn on here and has happened to a fair few others who have been staff at one time or another. It can be hard work and needs a lot of time to put in. Its not generally something that people can do forever so although she may have been a little quieter over the past few months now, I hope people can appreciate just how much Linda particularly has put in to the forum, as its a lot.

We did actually do this once. Jos had the nighttime live. I may look at it before camp is I get chance and decide on the best way to do it.

For those of you who have been to camp before, you will have been to Jakes across the road (the pub). For those of you who havent, there is a pub across the road where you have have meals, sit outside, watch sport etc.

Dad has been there today and got pictures of all the menus and also managed to get the wifi key We generally end up organising a day where some can go over for a meal if they have the opportunity.
