A home neb usually means asthma/COPD, if that the case you need to go back to that Dr and slap him, a child with a chronic illness should NEVER wait. I am so pissed right now, it's a good job your on the other side of the world or I would do it for you !!! My mum suffers with it badly, has to use the neb every 4 hours night and day, the first couple of times she went with blues and twos my kids were terrified, after 8 or 9 they were far more casual.

The honey works a treat, but if the cough is really severe you could steam, I know it sounds strange but the warm moist air makes it easier to breathe, I remember doing this when my cousin was a baby, I sat in the bathroom with the hot tap on full, the shower on lava heat and a kettle boiling in the corner with him in my arms, made the difference between going back to hospital and staying at home.

This sounds great, only problem is I can't buy it in the UK, no idea why, even amazon won't ship it over !

Does it have to be an all or nothing thing ? Maybe change to a long drink ?

Thanks guys, we saw the vet yesterday, mama and babies doing well, although he was a little shocked at how big she was ! She's put on 8 kilos, he figures between 6 and 10 pups, so I guess a playpen will be needed. Whelping box ordered, vet and mid-woof on speed dial, I think I'm mostly prepared. I know she has to go on to puppy food, but which one ? Any recommendations bearing in mind she's on a raw diet at the moment, the vet said to mix in a little to start and gradually change the ratio, but raw and dried together sounds like a bad idea, would it be better to do a meal of each ? Will try (lol) to put up some recent pics.

I figured as it's been so long since I posted anything I should be polite and say hello properly, so .... Hi. We still have two dogs, Bear and Freyja, and, after an ` incident ` a few weeks ago, we are expecting puppies around the 8th of September. ( my fault I confess, I totally underestimated them both !!!) I know that some here have very strong opinions about breeding without full health checks, but please remember this wasn't something that was planned. Any advice or tips you can offer would be really appreciated.

If they have kids they should be a little more understanding ! If I may be blunt, and direct, childbirth can be a sprint or an endurance event, either way your body will be bent like a pretzel, I'm not saying this to freak you out, just to say that unless you are blessed by the godess, less than two weeks later you will still be feeling the effects. It's not a time to spend all day in someone else's house, trying to smile wearing a nice dress and heels (because it's expected!) worrying about the baby, whether the baby's going to throw up on great aunt Gertrude, or catch a bug or whether your boobs are going to leak through the super thick breast pads that make you feel like dolly parton. This is the time you want to wear comfys, and eat junk food just because you want to, you made a whole other person, you DESERVE pizza and ice cream ! Seriously though, is there anyway to work out a compromise ? This will sound a little bad, but what about saying to his parents that for baby's first Christmas, you would like it to be special, just you and your hubby, and the grandparents, lay it on thick, how much it would mean to you both to share the special moments just you guys. The memories that don't have to be shared with everyone. Good luck with everything, finals, baby and in-laws.

If I was taking the furries, up north to play in the snow, always wanted to see Canada, if it's just the humans, discovery cove in Florida, we went a few years ago and to swim with the rays was amazing ! ( we swam with the dolphins as well, surprisingly the rays were better )
