Ha, I bumped into an old `friend` the other night on our walk, well done him he knew bear was a husky, he then started grabbing him all over like a show judge, telling me bear was small for a husky, I laughed and politely pointed out he was oversized in height and weight for the breed standard, and he grabbed him again ! Saying it was all fur. where do people get off behaving like that, I wouldn't dream of grabbing a dog I've never met before like that, sometimes I wish he wasn't such a softy, certain people I want to bite myself !

I think you've done pretty much everything that could be expected, tbh. You chastised your dog and removed them from the area of the victim, returned and offered your details and have kept in touch with the other owner as to the condition of the other dog. They know your taking it seriously, so does your dog. As has been said I might try the long lead for a while, not only will it help your dog if you do need to correct him, but it's a visual showing to other owners that your aware of the issue. We all know how gossipy some people can be and you can bet every owner has been told by now, the lead might make things a little easier for you as well.

Bear was like this till we changed his diet to raw then he calmed right down, ( now of course he's nuts again, the joy of having a new puppy !)

How old are they both ? We recently got a new pup and when they play it is rough, unless I hear proper yelps I try not to step in, there have been times you would swear he's killing her and I can actually see them, and her only problem is he won't play and wants to chill lol. Sometimes they lie on their backs, show all the teeth, lips curled, real scary looking and yet never connect, it's definitely play. Could you get a video of them together ? There are loads of people on here with tons more experience than me, but actually seeing it would help I think. Oh, what breed is the other pup ?

Still undecided on the two verses one thing, been looking at loads and have to say some of the prices are crazy, just seem a plastic igloo thing for £400, maybe it's just me being tight but....... I want a car for that lol. I have a feeling one big one might be better with some sort of n overhang at the front. As for security, the kennel won't be downstairs in a garden or anything but on the large balcony outside our bedroom, about 4ft from our bed, our kids camped out there as little uns, ( with the dog, and their dad, and the door open, I was/am a teeny tiny bit of an overprotective worryguts )

Lol and cheese, and bacon, and crisps, and peanut butter, I tried something new recently, Greek yoghurt mixed with peanut butter, I I stuffed the ends of a hollow bone filled the middle with kibble and froze them. It was like puppy crack !

About what ? They don't get cold or anything do they ? Bear crashes outside the door on the concrete, he really doesn't want to come in so I just leave the door ajar for him, the only time he uses it is AFTER its been raining for an hour and he's soaked, then he comes and jumps on the bed and gives me wet husky cuddles the lovely @$#&!@.

Mine do that !
