He doesn't like hide and go seek, what about shell games ? I got some lightweight plastic cups put them on the floor and hid treats underneath, bear seems to enjoy it, we treat it as a rainy day game. LOL I remember having a rainy day box for my kids when they were little, same thing just different contents. I did get a book off amazon, brain games for dogs, there's a section on things you can do and play from an armchair, might be an idea.

When my kids were little their great-great uncle died, he was like a grandad to them and I too told them that he was the brightest star shining down and watching over them. As to taking the little one to the funeral home, it's a personal choice, are you having an open casket ? It might confuse him to see grandad lying there after you've said he's a star up in heaven, three is a bit young for the whole " the body is just a shell " conversation. Don't worry about what other people think, you and your husband need to do what is best for your boy, yourselves and his mum, have you tried asking her advice ? Obviously you know her and I don't, but A lot of people feel better when they have a practical problem to focus on, something to think about besides the pain she's going through.

You can always check, with the fan off, check the number on the meter, wait an hour, check again, do the same thing with the fan going, and the difference is how much electricity the fan uses, I can't tell you how much it will be as all companies charge differently, but it should tell you on their website the cost for one unit of electricity ( I think it's measured in joules ) just multiply that cost by however many joules the fan uses and you've got your answer.Will probably be pennies.
