Gamers are placid ? not sure about that, lol. we've had six, all in my son's room, all gaming together, from the language you would have thought it was west ham millwall for the cup, I will say there was no violence but I did learn a few new words !

Just looked at the tournaments, one of them is seven and a half k, another sends the winning team to the world championships in Japan (?) Who knew all those wasted hours in front of the pc were worth something lol

About ten or twelve years I think, they even have cash prizes for some of the tournaments I think halo prize is like 3 grand,

He's 18, over 6ft and built like brick outhouse, and he's still my little boy ! I'd never heard of it till he asked if he could go, (guess I should be glad he asked not told lol) it's in telford so we get to haul his desktop and 30inch monitor up there that will be fun (as well as his tent/sleeping bag/clothes/junk) apparently it's one of the biggest tournaments for team fortress 2, halo all sorts. Your boys not mentioned it ?

Speak to your parents, no disrespect intended to you liv, but your sixteen, you don't have to deal with that sort of behaviour on your own, it's not on. I wrote a whole different thing about ignoring them and feeling sorry for their sad little lives then wondered how old you were, my daughter is sixteen as well, if someone behaved like that to her I'd tell them off (well, tell them off = lots of shouting, rude words and fist shaking ) I dare say your parents would be the same. Anyway, as for the music, I'm afraid that might be a losing battle, workers the world over have listened to total carp since time began,

Some tarantula are stunning, have the most amazing colouring, the Venezuelan green bottle blue is amazing especially right after a shed, be careful, they are highly addictive !!! It's very easy to say ok one more, JUST one, and you end up with a wall covered with them, each with their own heat pad or rock, humidity gauge etc etc etc. Oh depending on the type of tank you have (tank with lid or vivarium) either get a lock or a brick, they CAN get out, we lost a couple in the house, found them again again after a while but the hunt is not fun !

I know, we started out keeping ours all dated and labelled and organised, I gave up when he called me from a show and said he was bringing ME home a pressie, MY pressie turned out to be tarantulas 22,23,24 & 25, (yeah I never quite understood the logic either ) had to Chuck out the sheds to make room for his new babies. I miss my snakes !

Just showed this to the OH he says your picture looks like a brachypelma Smithi, Mexican red knee tarantula, we had one of those. Very calm and chilled usually, if he or you does get bitten its like a bee sting. If he or she gets scared they can flick their urticating hairs, they don't hurt but can itch a bit. Might be an idea to find out if it's been handled at all, before you have a play lol

Bear doesn't suffer so can't be too much help, just wondering does it make a difference if she's on her own or with Bing and blaze ? Do they give her a little confidence ? It might sound silly but how's her sight and hearing ? I have really bad eyesight and if something comes near me and I haven't got my glasses on, I panic. (Well I do when it's close enough to see, I'm blind as a bat !) Hope I haven't just given you more to worry about, just, it might help sort of

It's too easy to shift the blame now, a poor upbringing, bad schools, bad influences, bad parents, eventually these kids have to grow up and realise there are consequences, choices they make will affect their whole lives.

I love this series, and sometimes I hate my OH, he's read the books so delights in dropping little hints about what's coming up, I'm used to this and its fine, and yet he said NOTHING about the wedding except " that's interesting " I thought maybe the groom changes his mind or something, I did not expect wholesale slaughter !

If the teacher is agreeable, here's an idea, announce to the class that there is a little prize for the parent who did the best project, then at the end of school embarrass all parents with fact that their kids ratted them out for helping, we had a couple of parents who helped their kids ALOT, after the teacher did that it was a lot less of a problem.

Poor puppy ? Poor you ! It's bad enough when your own dog or kid keeps you awake, when it's someone else's, it sucks, good luck for tonight.

Has anyone been to any of these events ? Is anyone going ? My son has got his ticket for telford and he's quite happy to be doing his first totally solo weekend away, I'm his mum and I'm allowed to worry ( as long as I don't tell him !) Have been on the website and read all the blurbs, but it would be nice to hear from a real person.
