Lol, my boys taken to sleeping by the front door, right by it! Which is fine until someone needs to go in or out. I popped to the shops the other evening, it took me nearly 10 minutes to get back in the house. The little monster wedged his legs against the wall and refused to move, I got the door open enough to peek in, I swear he was laughing at me ! In the end I phoned my daughter who was upstairs in the bath and she came down to help (as soon as I shut the door he rolled over and expected a belly rub - yeah right!)

Lol it was about 6 or 7 months ago now, a tiny terrier/Chihuahua type went for bear ( total David and goliath !) He reared up and this little monster went for his bits ! I just picked him up and swiveled round and pop went my knee. Needless to say it was off lead and they tried to scream at me to get bear away from their little precious, HA, if I could have raised my leg, I would have drop kicked their little precious !

Oh dear, I think I'd be more upset by the £400 than the thumb right before Christmas, we've all done it though, and despite scratches, bites, bruises, will probably do it again ! Although I will say I don't think I will be picking up my boy again to avoid another dog ( strained ACL and torn menescus !)

While I agree the 4am walk does seem a little excessive, could it be that it's done from a security perspective rather than a dog perspective ? I don't know you or your employer, I don't know the level of security that is required, but I do know that for some people/places it can be very high. Could it be that the 4am walk is used to take an unobtrusive look around the neighbourhood?. No matter how many cameras you have, there are always blind spots, and walking a dog (or two) is a great excuse to wander and stop and look around while the dogs pee etc. Can I hazard a guess that the schedule change came after a new head of security started ? I can understand your point that the dogs should only go out if they ask, but from the other side, IF a higher level of awareness is needed then a routine is essential.

That's the OHs and my daughter's thing, she loves eddy ! I think she was 7 the first time she saw them live. Although my son has her beat, I was at a meatloaf concert at 8 months 2 weeks pregnant, he kicked the whole time, and people around us kept staring lol

I can do all that too, but I hate it lol. My mum is an expert crafter and will try anything ( her new thing for Jan will be chainmail !) Probably why I hate it. Reading is my love now days, everything from Aiken to Reilly, action, romance, even zombie books.

It's bad enough when people drop things `accidentally`, but when it's deliberate it's scary. Couple of months ago poisoned dog food as found in our local park. No dogs were harmed, thank heavens, but it turned up to be another owner. A lady with about a dozen Chihuahuas most of whom she walked in a double buggy (?) She didn't want big dogs near her babies !

I never give to beggars, I have a couple of charities that I support and to be honest, that's enough for me. Some of them may be genuine, but too many times I've seen others give and it goes straight in the liquor store till.

My two tried to help today, while I was trying to put up my new CREAM floor lenth curtains ARGHH !

Our girls on a raw diet and had her first litter at the beginning of September, we did try her on the puppy and mummy food, but it just gave her terrible diarrhoea. As long as she's having a good mix on her raw and eating plenty of that you shouldn't have too many problems. Our girl went mad for chicken, we free fed, and she ate constantly, even so she lost 10 kgs we did see the vet and she was fine, just skinny lol. He did warn us about feeding too much liver however, apparently it can pass on and build up in the pups. A word of warning for you, start clipping their claws early and keep an eye on her breasts, claws and teeth are SHARP ! Our freyja was scratched to hell and back. WOW, first thing, TAKE A BREATH !!! stop expecting so much of yourself, home, job, uni, social life, no wonder your head is spinning. You can't change everything all at once, no one could (unless they win the lottery) I know it's all connected, but you need to start with one thing, just one. You have a you tube channel, can you increase the revenue from that ? You do web design, push that. Your dad's army, so I assume there's a base there, put up flyers for dog walking and sitting there (off duty soldiers are notoriously lazy) offer specialized services, if you have a car, offer a taxi service for vet visits. Last minute call outs, long term rates for guys going away. It's an unpleasant truth, but money gives you options. You said you need a kick up the butt, so here it is, one week, to design a flyer for your new business, post it here. That's the homework, now for the practical assignment, take Loki out for a walk and talk to 5 people, it doesn't have to be a conversation, ask the time, chat about the dog, anything, but you have to look them in the eye when you do. Also, you can't make statements like ` I'm not good looking` without putting up a picture. With the bullying you have suffered, you could look like a God and still want to put a bag over your head, so for extra credit, let's see a picture ! I don't know about anyone else here, but most days I look like a bag lady lol. If you can't find the job you want, make the job you want.
