  1. Welcome to Husky Owners ~ Raven has gorgeous eyes <3
  2. Thank you ^^ and yes it's my mobile number haha, it has come in handy a number of times when Mishka escaped
  3. I made the decision to pass on my $300 photo gift voucher to Jase in WA, (we'll see pics of that later too), but I also won a photoshoot locally. Here's a preview, Mishka was a very good girl for me!
  4. Yes, I regretted it before I even had the chop. But I'm better off now, it took hours of maintenance :') Aww yes but it was a nuisance.. I can't donate dyed hair unfortunately
  5. It's actually turning out to be a very cold Autumn right now... brrr... thank you x
  6. Before After... haha Not quite sure what made me want to ^^
  7. After I leased off my only horse, I was left without a hobby or go-to animal to spend time with. While my parents were overseas in December, I accumulated money and purchased my 1st husky. They did not know and as you can imagine were VERY surprised - borderline pissed. We all agree on it now though Why a husky? I needed a jogging buddy, and I love a challenge. We get lots of attention and love <3
  8. Ooh I didn't even realise it was a breeder's website.. whoops
  9. Down the bottom of this page shows the changes of red coats similar to Shasta's.. and the grays
  10. Yes... ugh I was at my local park and a woman came up to me with an unfriendly vibe, right off the bat she said "You can't own wolves in Australia" Well lucky I don't own a wolf then!! Sheesh. She wouldn't accept that Mishka was a breed of dog. Mishka: "RAWRR I SHALL EAT YOU"

  12. Hey, so my boyfriend has got all his friends to gang up on me and say his staffy is black and white. Period. I won't stand for this she is black brindle, meaning that she can no longer be dominant black. I only have a photo of her as a pup, now that she's 3 her stripes are more apparent through her coat. Can I confirm this is not black?
  13. Her name was Opal, an old and friendly girl. I love dingoes, even though my dad resents them for what happened. This was my way of saying "That's the past now, they're beautiful animals and they need rescuing". @Durong Dingo Sanctuary QLD
  14. Thanks for the replies everyone, very insightful. I guess I'll just keep managing (:
  15. Mishka's parents were very docile, even lived beside a cat. However, since growing up with me, she has become increasingly dangerous to be around smaller animals. Always inquisitive about my cat (who unfortunately runs, giving chase), and the latest few instalments to her memory have worsened it. She killed the neighbour's rooster and just this evening I brought home some hunted rabbit which I was going to prepare and freeze for the dogs. Mishka tore one from my hands and went all demonic on me, also threatening to attack my other dog if she came too close. I couldn't take it off her, it's her first time seeing a rabbit - dead or alive. Usually her food aggression is only directed at other dogs. I'm worried that if she ever manages to catch my cat now, she WILL remember that taste of blood! The way she chewed that bunny up was disgusting.. and on easter too! Sheesh Eventually I was able to catch her and take it away. Anyone got success stories with these kinds of problems? I would love to know. P.s. Here's a confronting picture the culprit caught in the act!! Also, the rabbit hunting occurs sometimes as they become a growing pest on our friend's farm.

  17. The first one for sure, see how the lines flow together and correspond to the wolf a lot more. Should show us the finished product if you're happy with it
  18. Hey they made a video comparing them: http://youtu.be/mfFSBH4LNgk
