  1. thanks hun, i'll post on all posts that i can remember posting it on
  2. Thanks hun, i'm hoping no news is good news and that all has ended well.
  3. Any update on this whilst im on site today?
  4. Poss owner found please can you contact Val (zebedee) please
  5. i'm trying my best to find owners of the dog do we know where the dog was found as the park is 7 miles long its great for keeping me fit but covers from newton le willows to halton (widnes) and thats just the warrington section, if they in warrington our out of hours dog service is called animal wardens and their number is 0845 241 7253 (sorry copied from another page). our police stations are only open mon-fri 9-5 usefull i know, hehe hi val i found it lol
  6. mmm yes thats wen flynn did his damage and he was asleep on me or so i thought but i was asleep when he did it, he's getting better now though just keeps trying to fight with me which is cute, she'll grow out of it hun i've had it with shadow and she's really good now:D
  7. Oh deer, flynn's killed my strap on my handbag with his chewing and put a hole in matt's coat the lil bugger but we've gotta love em as they make our lives complete but we could do without having to replace/repair everything
  8. yup we went to a specialist to, its all done by diet and the foods bloody expensive
  9. its all diet controlled there isnt any medication to help with her problem
  10. I did the home check and knew there wouldn't be any problems i know how much Pete and Lou love their dogs and do anything for em although i nearly died when Pete said there was a tarantula loose in the house ( i don't do spiders lol)
  11. As most of you will be aware my mally shadow doesn't digest protein and as such is on a vet diet which cost £60 per bag, she does like it but we have found that she is starting to go off this and we cant put her on another because of her digestion issue but we know that she does like raw food so i was hoping that someone on here may be able to help me put a raw diet menu together which i may be able to start her on once Ive ran it past my vet first to make sure im not doing her any harm. She needs to keep at a weight between mid 20's and low 30's kg (she is only a small mally) or if anyone else has any other suggestions for food that confuses the gut so she gets the protein she needs i would be very grateful as i don't want her loosing weight again as its taken a while to get her back to normal again
  12. I agree with everything that has been said on here, all 3 of my pups are rehomes for one reason or another Shadow my kc malamute was a rehome as her previous owner who paid the full £800/850 for her could no longer manage her as her circumstances changed she knew i was waiting for one through shwa etc and i got her i stayed in contact with her for a few months but eventually we lost contact i think she was convinced she had settled and she was in a loving home-we ended up with the problems though the sensitive tummy she doesnt digest protein very well and suffers from seperation anxiety which brings me to our next pup, Kia is our huskamute rehomed through a local dogs home someone paid £500 for her and found out she wasnt full pedigree so gave her up at 8 weeks or so, we got her from the dogs home aged 14 weeks and have never looked back since as she has eased our problems with shadows seperation anxiety (shadows mine and used to eat my stuff whilst i was out even when matt was in) we werent really looking for a 3rd but when i saw the pics of him in the rehome secion on this site i fell in love straight away and convinced matt i was going down to meet him and see how it went he wasnt 100% with at first then i showed him the pics and he was like ok but dont get too involved just in case, i built up a friendship with his owner through here and FB and the phone, i went down with gthe girls and all was great and i brought him home and hes been great ever since and matt has taken to him so well its like we've had him forever, i know his original "mum" misses him loads i would be the same if i had to give up one of my babies but im so lucky that i ended up with all 3 of mine and i think it was all fait and was meant to be, and Flynn is still a big cuddly bum-he growls at the other 2 when they come over for cuddles but shadow growls deeper and he shuts up and gets off so she can come up and kia well she just sits on his head lol In between shadow us getting kia though we did get a rescue through shwa but we had give him up after 3 days as he was too strong for us, had a snap at my younger sisters that were looking after him whilst we went out and went for matt (who was still scared of dogs at thhis point) so we said enough was enough he'd eaten through a solid oak door, battered the kitchen door and wouldnt settle regardless of what we did, to this day i still feel like i let him down but i know he has been rehomed to a farm where they are working him and he has really settled with them. the reason i have put all this is to say that sometimes even the rehome places get it wrong when they dont do a proper homecheck etc but when its meant to be it will happen and it will make you so happy but dont give up and please do think about rescue dogs as they are the ones which are in need of a loving home which i know you can offer them.
