  1. It could be his age that determines. But what is a good price to insure a husky for. I just don't wan to pay another £120 a year if it's not needed
  2. I looked at them, but they don't seem to cover much. They say they will pay vet bills up to that price, but when you look closely, it's most relating to how much they will pay out for dentistry. The other costs a relatively small if your dog needs treatment :/
  3. We've been quoted 2 different lifetime policies by them. 2x Classics at £31 for £4000 cover, and £34 for £7000 cover. And Ultimate cover for £44 for £12000 cover. With a Husky, would I be adequate with one of the Classic covers?
  4. What is your turnaround, as we need one in the next couple days?
  5. Yeah I was looking at one exactly like that, but it was out of stock. So just wondered what would be a good alternative for the time being?
  6. Well I've just purchase a Size 1 Julius K9 Harness, and I was curious as to what size lead I should get to compliment it? Bare in mind at the moment I'm only wanting to get one for general walking, so it must be suitable enough to keep him close by when crossing roads and to stop him jumping up at people. will eventually get longer ones for more intense walks, but I'm just after one to walk him. I did see a Julius adjustable one that goesup to 2.2m, but it's out the stock, so I'm looking at the Julius IDC range. It's just picking a length. Thanks in advance
  7. I would never re-home my cats in a million years. One of them was my late mum's who she absolutely adored. I'll just have to keep my eye open, and if I can't find one that's suitable with cats, I'll probably have to go for a puppy
  8. Looking into this, a rescue Husky might not be possible. Everyone I've seen is strictly "no cats" which is a shame :/
  9. Could somebody actually point out a lead to me. Preferably a link as well. I know I'm looking for a POlice Dog lead. But I have no idea which one?
  10. Now Helsinki has grown a bit and become for full-sized, I'm considering a second Husky to keep him company. My girlfriend is after a specific type of husky, but we're thinking of getting a grown Husky. The puppy phase is just not for us. They are so adorably cute, but my god they can be a pain haha. A few questions I wanted to ask: How would bringing an older Husky (whether 1 year or 6 years) into the mix affect a 4-5 month old Husky? Also where are the best places to look? Cheers, Mike
  11. Oh god I'm such a numpty haha. I get it now. Do you have any advice on specific leads that are good to accompany are a harnes. Also are Indi-Dogs as good as the the K9 harness? And is it just a case of measuring Helsinki with a tailor's tape to get measurements?
  12. What are the differences between a harness and a walking belt? As in what are the main functions of each, and what is each one better for than the other is?
  13. Is there any chance you could send me some links? Also what's a walking belt?
