Hello guys, Finally Athos and his lady accomplished their "breeding mission". Now we are waiting for puppies

The female is almost 2 years old and is at her first breeding.

Athos is 2 years and a month.

Hi Jennet, I just had a female husky dropped off at my house to breed with my male. The vet said that it's the right period for this but however, he will stay mounted for a matter of seconds and looks like he just falls to the side. The female keeps running form Athos when he catches her. I imagined that once they met they would start the breeding. It has been about 3 hours since they were introduced in the pin together. What tips do you have to ensure the breeding takes place? Thak you very much for your help.

hey, I gave Athos today a chicken leg (the inferior part) and I think he thought it was a new toy :D, he took it and started to play with it. I left him alone with it but I think he buried it in the garden . I'll try again to give him raw, but if he continues to play with it I'll give up. Sincerely I never imagined that a dog would play with raw meat :D

I'm not sure what you should do, but I'll tell what I tried. I bath Athos today and he didn't scream. He was quite calm. I used a small basin with warm water and took the water from the basin, with my hand, and put it on him. It takes longer but I think it is less upsetting for him. I must admit that I was as wet as him when we finished :D.

I already received the info from Sid . On Monday I'll start to introduce raw in Athos' diet.

he's 14 months. next time I'll try to ignore him though it will be hard because my heart tears apart when he's not happy.

My friend Kimo came to visit. He is a Labrador. He ate my food, again, and we played all over the garden. We found mud, too, and we painted the stairs and the out door walls. I think that mummy didn't like it because she washed all out. Next time I'll do it better! :rolleyes:I hope he will come again soon; he's my best friend:P.

Today something strange happened. There is a kind of park near the house we live and today there were some persons singing there with drums and trumpets and Athos was very scared and agitated I had to stay with him in the garden to hug and pet him. Do your sibes feel the same when they hear that kind of sounds? I must say that it was the first time he heard that kind of "music". Do happened to know why he was so scared? My bf laughed at the way he stayed closed to me, he refused to stay more that 10 cm away from me. Every time he is scared of something he comes close to me that's why I know that music scared him
