They can "Blow" anywhere from 1 month to 2 months. in duration. and they will look Skinny when they are done. However they do shed all year round, (normal day to day fur loss) but they have 2 "Blows" per year where the entire undercoat sheds off

It's possible that one day you'll come home to find your sofa shredded. What YOU won't remeber is that 6 months before you spilled something very fragrant and tasty on the cushion. His VERY sensitive nose smells it and decides "Ohh, yeah gotta find that tasty NOM" and starts digging at the cushion to get at that NOM. It's not out and out deliberate destruction There's a DOG reason behind it.

Make sure that you REALLY tighten the connector under the seat. When she does get up to some speed (in a few months ) if the connector isn't rock solid tight it will move and interfere with your legs.
