That is awesome.
I've given up counting how many people I've converted to e-readers.
Before they always said. . . "Oh, no it's soulless, I like to hold a book in my hands.
But. . . . they only ever read when on holiday.
After trying the e-reader they were suddenly reading. . .well EVERYWHERE
I've always been a voracious reader before and after moving to my Kobo and then Kindle.
I've always been comfortable with new technology
So as soon as I could get book on my PDA I did ( back in the 90's even if I had to scan and OCR the books myself)
Then onto my Phone (when the screen was big enough)
all this LONG before e-readers even existed.
It's not about the experience of the reading. . . . It's the reading.
The physical book publishing industry is dying as are libraries all around the world.
However books are not.
The publishing industry is experiencing a boom
It used to be very difficult to get a book published
Now self publishing is very easy thatnks to E-books.
When I was a Kid and needed information for school homework I went to the library
today, it's the internet, I have a library card. I haven't used it for nearly 20 years.
I haven't stopped reading just the way I read has changed.
