  1. Oh, Lee so sorry to hear this. Those of us that met him at May camp won't easily forget him. A friendly personality, always happy to be fussed and petted. Run Free Dyson, You've lots of fur friends waiting to play with over there.
  2. However he would need to be both More clever AND faster than a determined Husky and that's a tall order. At the end of the day you know your dogs. Only you will know if you can trust them.
  3. Yep, I would keep them under close supervision at all times.
  4. This is the one we have Strongest and sturdiest I've seen. But a bit on the expensive side. http://www.petsathome.com/shop/double-door-crate-extra-large-by-pets-at-home-114069
  5. I could do the same thing with Echo my White German shepherd, but the Huskies have to be in a crate. They would escape in a heartbeat. . . They're Huskies it's what they do.
  6. The difference with a crate in the tent is that they will be able to see and smell you in the tent, that will comfort them knowing that you are right there beside them.
  7. My guys are never crated here at home. Only at camp. . . and actually they don't mind. During the day when we're not off doing stuff I tag them to the tow hook on the car. But during the night or if we have to be away from them then they happily go in the crate. (Last camp we had a static caravan, because of my then 5 month old Granddaughter But here's a pic of my 3 in the crate) and Eden-Willow
  8. LOL sounds like THEY are training you guys well
  9. Thanks, Albert was 86 . . . he had a good run.
  10. Nope, but they do have an impressive collection of holes in the garden
  11. Well done for sticking with us through thick and thin. I joined 3 years ago in May 2010 for exactly the same reason
  12. My step-dad passed away from diabetes connected complications. I've never heard of Diabetes Alert dogs. We have guide dogs for the Blind and Deaf help dogs and I've heard of dogs that sense seizures of people who suffer from epilepsy.
  13. I have a 6 man tent. It's big enough for 2 people in comfort and an extra large Crate for my 3 furmonsters
  14. Lol that happened to Linda (Loops) at camp earlier this year. Logan one of her Boys decided he had to make his own doorway
  15. If he'd let you have the Choccy Lab, you'd still only have the one.
  16. LOL bit too much of a Drive for me. . . sorry
  17. Yeah, something Traumatic happened there. Just try to avoid it if you can.
  18. Yup as Damir said we only have on entry so far and the competition finishes in 2 days But don't let that stop you. Upload them to You Tube, copy the link from the address bar on the You Tube page Then paste the link in here. Then I'll run a 2 day Poll and see what happens

    Dad's Helpers

I keep mine outside the kitchen with a stairgate. Otherwise the Furry Hoovers would be helping themselves
  21. Great Pic, I think that Meme is applicable to almost all Huskies
  22. I have a dog flap which lets out into a fully secure 150ft garden. My guys have access to plenty of water and can come and go as they please.
