  1. By the time Daughtry was nearly six months old, we were looking at getting a Husky playmate for Daughtry as the two breed have completely different personalities and temperaments. So we started looking around for a rescue and a member on here (Magical Merlin) had a friend who lived in a flat in London and their husky was stressed and tearing the hair out of his tail. So we met up with Dan and Laura we took Daughtry down and they played well. and so we brought Darwin home. They've been best buds ever since. Echo and Darwin on the other hand has taken 3 years to go from bitter fighting enemies to playing and chasing each other around the garden.

    Google Fun

Thanks for the link. Some fun stuff in there.
  6. Awww poor Dexter, yes it's well known that introducing a playmate can invigorate an older dog. Echo is our second White GSD. Bear (RIP) was about 9-10 when he passed, when we rescued him they told us he was about 4 years old. We suspect he was a lot older than that. We had him for 3 years. We got Echo as a playmate for him. We got Daughtry about 3 months after Bear went. We'd been researching Sibes for about 6 months. Mothering Daughtry helped Echo get over Her best mate going.
  7. The met office have issued a HEATWAVE warning for the Southeast of England for the next few days. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-23341504
  8. Yeah I have to chase Darwin all over the house and garden to brush him, he keeps trying to nip me while I'm doing it too. Has to be done though.

    Hey Everyone

Hi, Dave. I've been here. Bought some laminated flooring that's going down in a couple of weeks. Good to have you back.
  10. Cut the biscuits into smaller chunks and use them as treats every now and then.. she can still enjoy them and the smaller size should stop the "after effects" Usually the things causing the diarrhea is the quantity not necessarily the content. You can buy the best, healthiest Kibble but give them too much and they'll get the runs. Chop the biscuits into small treat sized pieces. Let her "dry up" first though
  11. Ain't nothin' wrong with an early morning dip

    Cctv Advice

Yeah, but some men prefer to knit.. . . .
  15. Yeah, you're treading a fine line between enough exercise and too much heat. I would drop it down to 30 mins. See if Suka is still drinking heavy and adjust it. Too much heat is dangerous (as you well know) Too little exercise is an inconvenience.

LOL I could explain but it would be just more technobabble.
  18. I've used a DAP collar on Echo (my White GSD) when she was constantly attacking Darwin. It did have a calming effect. a bit expensive (cheaper online)
