sudacreme e45 cut your leg off
  2. We got it originally for Malaki a HUGE Malamute. (sadly he didn't fit into our pack, a lovely boy but was fighting all the others and destroying everything in sight.) and He had a really good go at destroying this crate and it stood up to him.
  3. We rescued Echo (Our GSD) when she was 18months old and she is white all over. So I can't help. However I would say that it is probably just her coat gradually changing colour. It might take another 12 months before her "Adult" colours are fully in, however it is a gradual change not an overnight thing, this is probably just the start.
  4. This is the one I have (bit pricey but you're getting great quality) http://www.petsathome.com/shop/double-door-crate-extra-large-by-pets-at-home-114069 Very strong and sturdy and plenty of room. When we go to camp I can get all 3 of mine in there. So for just one dog . . . ooooodles of room
  5. I've always been of the opinion of the more room they have the less, constrained they'll feel the more comfortable and calmer they'll be. Also it's better to get the better quality crate. They can chew and break the flimsier ones, causing themselves injury. More expensive but stronger.

    Box

That is gorgeous Great find Awesome bargain.
  11. Stress can also cause them to bite tails, and strip fur off. She might have some pain in the leg (caused by something inside, no obvious injury) and by biting the leg she is trying to aleviate the pain.
  12. Darwin will quite happily sunbathe. Daughtry tends to stay indoors. Echo will bug me to go outdoors to get a ball throw (very quick) but most of the time they lie on the cool hallway tiles and sleep.
  13. Great pics, wish mine would get in the shellpool I got.

    Nail Clippers

I was just about to say, none of mine will let me anywhere near them with the clippers. I have to take them down to Pets at Home and then Get Echo in a full on body lock and muzzled up so the groomer can trim hers. Darwin just naturally keeps his short, never had to do his. Daughtry maybe once per year.
  15. Welcome to the very best Husky forum in the WORLD
  16. Just spent £175 on laminate flooring for the front room and hallway. half as cheap as the Dyson with nontangle head I was considering getting. Now my bog standard Henry will be able to cope with the hair and it will only take 10 mins to hoover and not 2 hours on hands and knees.

    Maggots

One of the dogs brought in half a bird a few years back, hid it up between the sofa and a chair. didn't know it was there until I came down to get ready for work at 04.00am to find the floor awash with the crawly white things. Got the hoover out and simply sucked 'em all up !!! Job done. Neighbours must've thought I wuz nuts hoovering at 4 oclock in the morning

  20. We've got some hedgehogs and badgers like that, and they are REALLY heavy. Hope it's just bruising.
  21. Welcome to the forum. Huskies don't like being alone (except on their own terms) Even at night when you are still in the house. As Dimitar said, perhaps have the crate in your room at night. Otherwise it's a couple of weeks of her crying and whining until she gets used to the idea. There are a few Crate training threads in the training section. Have a read and see if some of the ideas in there might help.
