get a rag, wet it, twist it into a rope (bone) shape and put it in the freezer until it freezes, then give him that it will be cool on his gums and give him something to chew on.

Ahhhhh, he's mouthing. that's quite normal. if he holds your hand firmer than you like or is nipping. Then pull your hand back with a loud OW !! he'll soon learn that he's hurting you and be more gentle. Bite inhibition is something that is learned.

He may not even be doing anything overtly agressive in showing his teeth. what is his body posture like when he does it. Huskies play hard even as puppies. and people who have never seen this can confuse it for full on aggression.

First off Welcome to the forum. Please go to the Introductions section and post a little about yourself and some Pics of the puppy It's not unusual for a dog to fixate more on one person than another. At five months the pup is starting to get a sense of self and will start to make his own decisions, resulting in behaviour that to us is naughty or unreasonable.

I've never experienced anything myself, but I don't rule out the possibility. I have however experienced precognition on several occasions. Usually just seconds before an event happened, (nothing important or extreme) just events happening around me. suddenly I "know" exactly whats going to happen, whats going to be said etc. It's over in a few seconds. But leaves a very wierd feeling.

Contact the rescue. explain the situation, that you were given the dog in good faith, you being unaware of the contract with the previous owners.. If they insist on having the dog back. Then give her back, and present THEM with a bill for everything you've done so far. But don't incur anymore expenses (outside of food etc)

Yes, he's a clever boy. While they love walkies, they have their own sense that it's just too hot. Better off in the cool. make up for the lost exercise when the weather changes.

Hope they don't find anything she'll soon perk up and be smacking the cone of shame into doorframes, and ornaments, and photos causing all kinds of mayhem
