My opinion, You work Hard for low pay. Both Kells and I have worked in shops I started behind the till and worked up to manager. and Kells started on the shop floor and ended up as a shift supervisor. Once you have management experience and especially if the put you through NVQ's (I ended up with a level 3 retail management NVQ) Then you can parlay that into a much better managers job elsewhere. Keep at it.

You can get travel crates that are smaller than normal crates, but unless you are travelling HUGE distances they will be large enough for day to day travelling. They need to be at least 6 foot above ground. (and a really determined husky will be able to get over this.) However if the fence is in place before you get the dog, they don't know what's on the other side and so are less curious and so less likely to want to try to jump over. ideally you'll want concrete footing along the ground length of the fence to discourage digging under the fence too.
