Sorry what I was looking for isn't there. What Mollys Dad is suggesting is that the info on your hard drive that tells the laptop to run windows has been damaged. But you can get all you pictures and documents etc if you follow his advice.

Did it let you in the BIOS ??

OK when you switch it on press F8 keep pressing it. this "should" get you into the BIOS boot menu. If it gets you that far. there should be an option. F5 load optimised defaults. Hit F5 then F10 to save the changes and reboot.

OK try this first. It sounds silly, but it sometimes works for Laptops that have got "stuck" Unplug it from the power and Take the battery off. Open it up and turn it upside down. Press the power button for 20 seconds. (I know it's not plugged in and no battery) It's something to do with fully discharging any residual charge in the machine. Put it back together, plug it in and try again.

Then a decent 10" android tablet will do you just fine. Give us a price range you want to pay and we'll see what's good in that price range.

Make a list of everything you do on the PC. You might get away with a tablet. or it could be that you really do need the full features of a laptop or PC. Then we can give you better advice.

Daughtry and Darwin not so much, they are pretty laid back. However. . . . Echo bugs us all the time for ball throws. She will sit with the ball in her mouth making whiny noises. Then she'll drop the ball at our feet. Back up sit down then look at the ball, then me, then the ball, then me all the time making whiny noises. When she stops and goes lie down somewhere then one of us will take her out for one. But. . . Not when she's demanding it.
