  1. Yeah, mine has just about dried out. It was when it was wet that Echo really turned it from a garden to a mudslide.
  2. Bah !!! barely a scratch LOL I've still gotta clear up after they knocked the council wheely bin over and distributed the contents all up the top of the garden. Sigh
  3. Oh, they'll get to those. Darwin and Daughtry dig the holes. Echo churns up the ground running and chasing her ball.

    Idiot!

Phew close call. Oh, yeah never chase them it just becomes a chase me game. Once I have them in sight I do what you did, sit down and pretend to be eating something and giving it to the others. They usually come straight over for nommage.
  5. This is what my garden looked like May last year just before we moved in. This is what it looks like this morning.
  6. I get the same with Echo she is behind me all the time. Daughtry is not far behind. Darwin will still be curled up on the sofa, however the moment you forget to close the stairgate to the kitchen He slinks away and will be side surfing, first thing you know is when there is a loud clang as he's pulled an oven dish out of the oven. Sneaky boy.
  7. Infected nail ? a small cut on the toe infected ??
  8. Do you not have any other family or friends that you can stay with rather than your mother ?? You managed very well when you lived in Las Vegas before so I'm sure you know how to handle the pooches in the heat. I'm sorry I can't help with any advice. Good luck. You know your Husky family is here as a shoulder to cry on if needed.

    Neck

So sorry you're in pain. I know how you feel. Slept on a crap mattress last year on holiday which did my back in. because I was standing / walking awkward I ended up with sciatica for 6 months. One simple, silly thing can cause months of pain.
  10. Mine only get Raw chicken bones Mostly chicken wings.
  11. A puppy needs approx 5 minutes of exercise per month of age So at 4 months 4 x 5mins = 20 mins (or approx 1 mile) Also be aware that you shouldn't take your dog out onto public streets / parks etc until they've had all their shots. (to protect them from any nasties other infected / unprotected / unvaccinated dogs may leave behind.) Also even when your puppy is getting older. There should be no strenuous exercise i.e. Pulling on rigs/bikes extended running etc until they are at least a year old. (they will get enough running around the house and garden + normal walks) Until this age the joints and ligaments and bones are still growing. The strain on these can cause Hip and Joint problems later in life, much earlier than you would normally expect. However tempting it is please wait the extra few months until they are old enough.
  12. OH, lol a TV program. In that case erm, no. Rarely ever watch TV. (hate adverts and being tied to the screen at "X" time every day.) If there is a program I'm recommended or want to watch I'll get it off the interweb. Think I'll give this a miss though.
  13. She nearly did !!! A Young woman in San Paolo, Brazil dropped her phone on the train tracks
  14. Because Huskies cannot be 100% trusted off lead most people walk thier dogs on lead. You can get 50 - 100 foot leads which gives them plenty of room to go and sniff stuff but still remain in your control. We have a 150 foot garden, fully fenced (6ft) but they still get walks. If you feel they need even more then some people run with their dogs, You can get attachments (WalkyDog and Springer) to attach to a mountain bike and they can run safely along side or even pull you. There are plenty of options to give your dog good exercise without letting them off. As for indoor / outdoor. We have a dog flap which lets them out into the secure back garden they can come and go as they please.
  15. Darwin will quite often not eat in the morning. But will be ready by the time for his evening meal. Also he eats quite slowly, taking his time. Echo and Daughtry on the other hand seem to be bottomless pits. The food barely touches the sides it goes down that quick.
  16. Some local yobs were sitting on a fence near the local park. As we came out.Echo went into her usual teeth out with loud noises greetings to them. Echo is a White German Shepherd and most people can't tell what breed she is at first glance. She is very protective of her human and Husky pack and doesn't like it if other people get too close. One of the eejits jumped off the fence and walked towards us which only increased the volume of Echo's noises. "Ere mate wot's that then "? he asked pointing at Echo. Echo is now straining at the lead on her back legs. "Hungry" I replied letting the lead slip a little. Naughty I know but it was funny watching him nearly trip over as he jumped backwards away from her teeth.
  17. Poor Dozer. Hope he recovers. At least he'll be in a loving home, with dawgy friends to play with.
