Did you get pictures at the time ?? is it an old VW or one of the newer ones ? They might be talikg a new bumper, or fixing the dent and respraying the area. and. . . . The garage will have quoted anywhere from £20 to £50 per hour for labour.

    Prey Drive

Also, Huskies as a breed have very poor recall. As Elyse says they have Selective hearing, meaning if there is something even matginally more interesting they will ignore you. So Huskies should be kept on lead at all times if they are not in a secure area, i.e. a garden with sturdy minimum 6ft fences. You might train them not to go near the chickens etc, But the moment the opportunity presents itself they would see them as fair game.

    Prey Drive

At 13 months old the prey drive is certainly there. If they haven't been brought up from puppy around the other animals. Then the temptation will be great. Anything small and fast moving is prey. They will dig under fences, jump over fences. even if brought up with cats, they will ignore your cats but the neighbours cats will be fair game. coming into the house at 13 months then yours will be looked at as furry nommage. you would have to watch the dog like a hawk.

    Im New

Welcome. Huskies are a whole different kettle of fish to your average german shepherd or labrador. Please ask questions but most importantly do a shed load of research. To work out whether a Husky is the right dog for you. Have a look around and get stuck into the other areas of the forum.
  7. I'm at work on I.E something or other . . . Working fine

Awwww that's my boy and girls
  10. If there is a patio (paved area) out the back I would give it a thorough disinfecting first before letting Chula out there. The other dogs may not have had their shots and be carrying and leaving behind all kinds of nasties in their deposits.
  11. First check the back garden for plants. See if you can identify anything growing there and check if it's dangerous for dogs. If she's as intent as you say on eating anything and everything. You can get any offending plants removed before you move in.
  12. Upstairs, downstairs leaping over tables, across the chairs in the kitchen, out through the dog flap, back in. leap the table, upstairs. . . . repeat as often as needed. Zoomies. Just soooo funny to watch.
  13. The technical term for this is the. . . . ZOOOOOOOMIES !!!
  14. Awwww, non of my guys are bothered by the hoover. they follow you around getting in the way.

    Treats Lol

So when the old silverback gets home from his 12 hour shift at work. . . . It means I now have to communicate via sign language or telepathy as we're now not giving verbal commands to the fur pack . . . sigh. . .
  17. Yarp me too. I've even slammed on the brakes and pulled the car over and gone running back up the street chasing these poor unexpecting people. Waving arms and thrusting cards at them, like some Crazed Husky terrorist.
  18. Still got everything crossed for ya
