  1. If your pooch isn't likely to get stressed and try to get out then go for a cheap one. However if your dogs suffer from separation anxiety then they can easily trash a cheap one and escape.
  2. Awesome, well done Could be a business opportunity I'm sure Sid Wolf would stock them on her website.
  3. Be safe, if pooch decides to sod off in a stoopid direction across a surface YOU can't skate on then you either gotta let go and risk losing the dog or hold on and take the damage. At some point Huskies will always do the unexpected.
  4. Sounds like he's eaten something he shouldn't They are crafty buggers and will eat anything no matter how bad it is for them. Keep up the chicken n rice. Or even raw chicken wing that'll help thicken him up

    Arrrhhhhggggg!

Sid. You know that Kells had Eden-Willow just 2 months ago. and as you know we have 4 dogs. Darwin & Daughtry Huskies. Malaki Alaskan Malamute. and Echo White german shepherd. Anyone who has met Echo steers well clear as her mission in life is to guard her pack. Anyone who is not family will have seen and heard her telling strangers to politely. . . go away loudly and with teeth. Most people meeting Echo would judge her and suggest that she is not a suitable dog to be around a newborn baby. Before we brought Eden home we let the dogs sniff the clothes that we had bought. We brought home used nappies from the hospital, and clothes and blankets she had been in. ALL the dogs have been exemplary around Eden. All like to have a sniff, and are curious. They are all very gentle when near her as they realise that she is a Human "Puppy". While we never leave Eden alone with the dogs we have no worries that they might pose a danger to her. If for a single moment we had the slightest worry that any of the dogs might cause her harm then they would be gone. As much as we love our dogs, Eden comes first. However we honestly believe that that situation will not arise.
  15. So pleased you have her back. Hope she is in good health. I'll bet she was overjoyed to see you.
  16. Welcome If you haven't already seen this have a read of this http://www.husky-owners.com/forum/showthread.php/6842-Thinking-of-getting-your-1st-husky-Read-this!/page3?p=752896#post752896
  17. I think it was fabric but it's more Husky fur , slobber and muddy paw prints, than any original material.
  18. The rabbit is probably scared and stays quite still, most of the time. If it was scampering around quite fast then Sasha might see it as something to chase. Then natural instinct might kick in and. . . lunch. IMHO it's only a matter of time. Also when you're there she behaves herself. Leave them alone for any length of time and. . . .
  19. Some dogs (any breed) are fearless, love all people and other dogs. Others are timid and scared of the slightest thing. It's personality, they are all different just like humans. Darwin loves all humans. Daughtry will shy away from strangers.
