1. You'll love seeing the real look of joy as she opens her presents and not the "Oh. . . . Mmmm. . . hmph,. . . yeah lovely thanks. . . " That you get as they get into their teens.

Red Kites

Thanks, I was at full zoom on the camera and that degrades the quality. I had the camera in sports mode so it was taking 5 pix per second, just to try and get them in frame at some point.
3. I'm Spending 2 days in New York sightseeing. Then Fly down to West Palm Beach Airport. The next day a 4 day cruise around the Bahamas then Back to Miami and about 10 days around orlando.
4. I can get by on 5 hours but would prefer 7-8

Red Kites

Managed to snap some pictures of Red Kites flying around the field opposite our house. Sorry for the poor quality but they were moving quite fast and I was at full (42x) zoom as they were about 1/4 of a mile away.
6. Kells laid Eden -Willow next to Darwin. He really wasn't sure what he should do. So calm and patient.
7. Awesome. I'm of to Florida in January. Can't wait.
8. Thanx for the votes and Welcome back
9. If Gimp has a Drop Shadow filter then use that if not copy the hat and colour it completely black then use a blur filter on it to really soften the edges. reduce it in size a tiny bit and then position the blur hat under the real hat but offset below it a tiny bit. Hope that makes sense.
10. Good work When I cut something and put it in another pic (like your first one) if it is a bright background, I tend to run a blur tool around the edges to soften them makes the edges look less hard and more natural. Also on the last one I would have put a tiny soft shadow on the lower edges of the hats. Oh, yeah and looks like my graddaughter in there somewhere too Great work though
11. LOL been bumping it like crazy for the last week. to try to raise the pot. Maybe it'll be like Ebay . . . there'll be a frantic flurry right at the end

OK, so this is the recovery position and CPR method. . . Husky Style
13. Yeah, but it guzzles gas like Sarah guzzles vodka (almost )
14. I just got me a Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 for just that reason. new set of tyres and a winter service.
15. Aww Al, Hugs here from my pack. We had daughtry "done" a couple of months ago. she was pretty much the same although she did get up and slowly waddle outside for business. She'll soon come around, then the trouble is keeping her reigned in so that she doesn't pull open the stitches by over stretching and pulling at the wound with too much vigorous activity.
16. Yeah, I know what you mean. We moved out of Oxford earlier this year and traditionally all we ever got was a light dusting of snow on the ground. we're now in High wycombe only 25 miles away but higher by several hundred feet and so we're looking forward to some nice thick snow this winter.
17. Paid Saz £5 Awaiting PM Wiv numbers
18. Because we're masochistic. (and the local government is too cheap to build in the proper drainage infrastructure.) victorian sewer systems are good enough. . . NOT !!!
19. LOL I do but I want the chance for others who have either forgotten about it or haven't seen it to add to the pot. It's for a good cause.
20. More importantly are your pooches ready for it. for some of us it's great to see our snow dogs in as close to their natural environment as they can get. for others it's going to be the first time that their pups have experienced the glorious white stuff. me I say . . . Bring it ON. . . Are you looking forward to it or. . . dreading the chaos it brings to getting to work or just getting to the shops or even just getting out the end of your driveway ??
