Took the pooches down to Pets at Home in High Wycombe. Echo and Daughtry needed their claws clipped. While waiting a family came up to admire Darwin and Daughtry and said they had 3 girly huskies. Gave them a Husky Owners Bizzy card and they said they would have a look.

It's unfortunate that there are no "Quick Fixes" with anything Husky. If you want to train your Husky out of something that comes naturally to it i.e. pulling then it takes time and patience, Every day it will get a tiny bit better. Until some time (it took a year to train our three together) down the line you realise Oooh, look they are walking nicely now.

There are too many idiots on the road eating / drinking / on the phone etc. I keep my full focus on the road and the other potential nutcases around me.

There is an absolute flood of Huskies and Malamutes at most of the rescue organisations at the moment. apparently due to the current glut of Vampire / werewolf movies and TV shows the demand for Huskies and Malamutes has gone through the roof. However most of these people do zero research into the breed and end up getting rid of them a few months later when they discover how difficult a breed they can be. Huskies in Need have a load waiting for homes. Type Husky rehome charities into google and see what comes back. Check local animal shelters near you most have Huskies. We do get the occasional member here needing a rehome and they are always free to good home here.
