  1. We used Halti's on ours whilst training them to walk loose lead. Whilst it's not a quick fix, the immediate results as far as curbing the dragging and pulling are very helpful. All 3 of ours are now just on normal semi-slip collars. While they have a bit of a 'Tug' for the first few minutes of the walk (simply because they are excited about the walk) they soom settle and I can walk all 3 of mine with one hand.
  2. While you may have cleaned house by changing your antivirus and running some good malaware detectors if they've had access to your address book, they may have cloned it and may well still be sending stuff out in your name. Not a lot u can do about that I'm afraid.
  3. Welcome. While you've had dogs in your life before (as many of us have) huskies do seem to be "out there on their own" as far as strange and weird behaviour is concerned. Any help you need, just shout
  4. Welcome William and Duke. Duke is a great name. While it is a popular DOG name especially with GSD' (German Shepherds) It's not a common Husky name. Any help you need just hollar. 6. I think that they are trying to do the best thing for the pooch, in a difficult situation. However, Once you have the dog I don't think you will see or hear from them again. Unless you are 100% sure you are ready to take him on for the duration. whether it be 9 months or forever then I would say no. Are they offerring to pay for his keep / food etc. ?? If they are staying local, just not allowed to keep pets then. . . I would expect them to come around to help with walking etc and pay towards his food etc. If they are expecting you to take him on full time / full cost then I would say you won't see them again.
  7. Well done Dave a heroic effort. lets see if you can keep it up after the shutdown.
