They Mangled the Akira anime, changed the story too much. The priestess gets cut out altogether except for a cameo on the bridge. Sigh, the Manga was far superior. Also fantastic news the Live action version starring Keanu Reeves as Kaneda has been cancelled. (Phew)

Watched a lot of the "Classics" Akira, Flying Island of Laputa aka Castle / Island in the sky. Urotsikidoji, Ghost in the Shell, Appleseed, Deathnote etc.

Has it been dropped or jarred recently. If so then the DVD scanning head may have gone out of alignment. it only has to move a tiny fraction of a millimetre to misread.

I think this story would apply to anyone owning a Husky. Burglers break in. Husky welcomes them with wooos and kisses. Makes them a cup of tea. Shows them where ALL your good stuff is. Helps them load up the van. and then jumps in the back just for the ride.
