I agree that training is paramount, however on those occasions when the dog has pulled leapt forward and the collar/harness has failed. and some of these weren't "cheap". Even with the best of products these things happen.

No you're quite right. However, if yours (or anyones ) does, or lunges suddenly then you might be glad of the extra strength.

There have been many threads where a Husky has snapped it's collar or harness, and done a runner. Those owners wouldn't agree.
