  5. I've just posted this on Storm-Boi's thread but it might apply here too. Have you checked the plants in your garden. Quite a few common one which we take for granted are toxic to dogs. Have a look at the list see if there is anything he might have had a curious nibble on. http://www.husky-owners.com/forum/index.php?/topic/7829-hazardous-plants/page__p__103495__hl__plants__fromsearch__1#entry103495 Google images if you're not sure what they look like. Hope he gets better soon.
  6. They are scamps, The moment your back is turned they are eating stuff they are not supposed to. Have you checked what plants you have in the garden, some very common plants / flowers / shrubs or weeds can be toxic. have a look at this post see if any of these might be there. http://www.husky-owners.com/forum/index.php?/topic/7829-hazardous-plants/page__p__103495__hl__plants__fromsearch__1#entry103495 If you're not sure what each one looks like copy and paste the name into google and look at images. Hope Storm gets better soon.

  8. What a handsome boy. What's his name ?? Well done for choosing him EDIT DOH !!! How about reading the title of the thread properly. . Diesel. . LMAO
  9. What did you have a new engine put in or something ???
  10. Praying you have the same outcome as Aimee.
  11. He's thinking, hmmm just a bit lower and that's lunch sorted. We have Red Kites in our area (Big Carrion eater, Member of the Vulture family) Absolutely gorgeous. Echo practically breaks her neck following them in the sky when we're out for a walk.
  12. If there are 2 huskies in an area and one bites (in self defence, as we owners who know the breed would assume) then statistics say that there is a 50% chance of a husky biting you. If there are 100 pitbulls in an area and 10 of them bite, then that equates to only a 10% chance of being bitten. Despite there being 10 times more bitings by pitbulls, in the same area. It's this kind of statistical nonsense that gets Huskies on the Dangerous dogs list.

  15. If Lee decides to take him back, maybe you could offer to buy him. ?? I'm sure Lee will understand that you have given him a loving home and he is YOUR boy now. Hugs n hopes are with you.
  16. Darwin is a master of the SBD (Silent but Deadly)
  17. Food If you are feeding her too much, her stools will probably be very soft or runny. That's because her body hasn't had time to process the food properly before she needs to pass it through. If her stools are firm then you're not overfeeding her. Exercise If you can, shorter walks but more often spread out during the day Four ten minute walks would be better. Walking young puppies for too long, especially on hard surfaces can cause damage to the still growing bones and joints. This can cause problems later in life. An average should be 5 minutes per month of age per walk. so at 2 months a ten minute walk should be enough. Don't forget she's probably running around your house and garden too. You can tire them out mentally too. Chasing balls in the house. kongs or puzzle balls with treats in them. or eve a simple coke bottle with treats in and the lid plugged up will keep them entertained.
