    OMG it's unearthly

LMAO Darwin drops his guts when he's asleep. Then lifts his head and looks around as if to say. . . "Who the hell did THAT !!!"
  3. Sorry peeps but you are getting confused. A CUP (american measure) is a measure of Volume NOT weight. I have a set of measuring cups which have US and UK measurements. So 1 Cup = 250ml (the same Volume of Kibble will weigh much less than the same volume of chicken or tinned meat.) I have just weighed 1 cup of Barking Heads Kibble (making a very loose assumption that most kibble will weigh the same) and 1 cup of kibble = 125 grams Hope this helps.
  4. Yep same here Darwin and Daughtry get excited and bunny hop to try to get to greet another dog. That's when Echo isn't trying to kill n eat the poor beastie first.
  5. Ems. . .Explain to your manager that your grumpy attitude is due to you NOT BEING ABLE TO GET ON THE FORUM and this is pi$5ing you off and is affecting your work.
  6. Daughtry rarely plays with toys. Won't chase or play with balls. however She LOVES superballs the little super bouncy balls she bats them around, picks them up chucks them in the air then chases them as they bounce off across the floor.
  7. Here you go Toni. he's stunning.
  8. LMAO Dave . . . who's gonna tell Odin NO!! ??
  9. awwwww Poor Odin. He's sure grown a lot since we saw him as that tiny pup last year. .
  10. Gorgeous. This was a husky pup at our first meet in Oxford last year.
  11. Daughtry from a breeder. Darwin was a rehome through this forum. Echo from a rescue centre to a private foster / dog psychologist (behavioural issues) to us. So we've done them all. . . lol
  12. Also a lot comes down to your dogs constitution. Some can eat anything and stay solid. Others have sensitive digestion all their lives and HAVE to be on whatever you find keeps them solid. Only time, and trial and error will teach you that. When you change from one brand to another, always Phase the new food in gently over say a week. gradually mixing the new food into the old until you have swapped over. Many of us have found that an "instant" change causes the "chocolate milkshake" bum Also quantity is important if you overfeed (especially puppies) this will give them the runs no matter how good a quality the food is.
  13. Daughtry and Echo sleep downstairs. Darwin sleeps at the foot of my bed on the floor . . . most nights Occasionally Kells will wake to find herself squashed up against the wall with Darwin sprawled all over the rest of her bed.
  14. This usually boils down to what you can afford. There are lots of members with different incomes. Some can afford the very best £40 - £80 for a 13-15kg bag of food Others can only afford, whatever is available at the local supermarket. If you can give a price range you are happy to pay then we can give advice on the best in that range. However as a general rule of thumb, look at the ingredients. You should always be looking for WHOLE ingredients, corn, not corn husks, meat, not meat products. If it says "meat product - 12%" then the "meat" could be anything, skin, hooves, offal, hair. as opposed to it saying "Beef - 12%" where they are stating REAL meat. Hope this helps.
  15. Most people base the decision on one of two things. 1. They also have an intact female and don't want any accidental litters. 2. Behavioural or aggression issues. If neither of these is the case then wait until you can afford it. I assume he's not allowed offlead so he's not going to meet a lady friend in the park and "get jiggy with it". Well done though for asking for advice.
  16. We were told that it is ok from 6 months for males. and ideally after the first season for females. When we rehomed darwin he was a year old and already "fixed" and fully healed up so he was probably done around the 6 - 8 month mark.
  17. Welcome Siggi and Funi to the Pack. If you need any help either with the Forum or with your new furbaby don't hesitate to ask. We love to help. Here's a pic of my two "playing"
