  4. Ok so he's been at Kells mums for just over 24 hours. He has been so well behaved. Loves chasing / catching balls. Drops the ball on command for you. Knows Sit, Paw (just one) and Down. Loves treats and is so eager to please. Doesn't bark when someone knocks at the door. Pulls a little when walking, but this is just him sniffing all the new scents around his new home and surroundings. We passed another dog in the park and his ears pricked up, his head and tail were high, he showed no aggression just inquisitiveness. Loves giving kisses, and sits beside you and leans against you. He is so affectionate. No "accidents" in the house he's waited to do his bizzyness outside. The whole family have fallen in love with him. I'll take my camera round and out with him tomorrow, we are planning on introducing him to our 3 Darwin, Daughtry and Echo tomorrow too. Again massive thanx to Diz and Lisa for the 14 hour journey here and back.
  5. Well done, for helping these poor guys. I'm sure you do a fantastic job looking after them and getting them ready for their forever homes +1
  6. I . . .erm. . am perhaps a little too. . ahem. . . erm . . portly ? to clip the lead around my waist.
  7. We have Echo and Daughtry on normal leads (cos the loose lead training is really starting to work well, and for the most part walk nicely) However we have Darwin on a Police lead one end on his Halti and the other on his semi slip collar. Darwin "face surfs" and can occasionally rub the Halti off. At which point he tries to "leg it" lol. Police training lead absolutely invaluable.
  8. LMAO. . . I have an epson wireless printer and I have two icons one which states categorically that the printer is connected but with errors and has no ink or paper. Another which see's the printer just fine. Both are installs using official epson drivers for the printer. Have tried deleting the duff one but it keeps coming back lol

  13. Thanks for the post Sid. We use Halti's for walking our 3. But purely because it's the only way we can walk all 3 at the same time, and keep some measure of control. (cat, squirrel, crisp packet blowing in the wind and they are all dragging to follow) I'm sure you will understand that as working people, time constraints say we cannot walk them all individually. They get an average of 3 twenty minute walks ( morning / straight after work and very end of the day) + 1 hour long walk (mid evening) per day. At least once per week we also do one on one loose lead training, which is helping them walk better as a pack. The aim is that eventually we can have them all on normal collars for walks. However it takes time and patience. IF we only had the one Husky, we could walk and do loose lead training on every walk and he/she would be walking more calmly a lot quicker. Yes it's in their nature to pull, it's also in their nature to hunt and none of us let our Huskies do that.! Well that's my tuppence h'a'penies worth.
