Everyone else in the country has had snow for weeeeeeeeks, we have had about half a centimeter. But . . . Now it's coming down heavy. . . yay. Kells took the pooches out for a walk this morning and they went nuts. Will try to get some piccies of them. Daughtry enjoying her very first snow, and Darwin his first with us.

Ok an easy way load the picture you make in GIMP from your PC to your gallery here on the forum. Once there you copy the BBcode for the image and paste it above your Pita pata in your signature editing box.

Pita pata come in two sizes small and smaller. If you want something bigger it has to be a signature image. You need to create one in an image editor like photoshop or GIMP then in your profile edit settings signature (where you have just put your pita pata you add your image. My sig is the fancy scrolly thing above the Pitas for my 3 poochies.

With most breeds of dog you can just get your new dog, and guess about this and that and manage to get a way with it. With Huskies if you don't get it right, you can end up being very frustrated. When the answer is very simple but usually completely the opposite of what you think you should be doing. If in doubt ask us. there is usually someone here who will give you an answer within a couple of hours.

The Faucher Family in Delaware have built extravagant Christmas lights setups for 25 years now. How extravagant? They use 1,000,000 lights. So how much does it cost them to run the lights for a month? $82,320. Gulp. HouseLogic estimated the total cost by using the average price per kWh in the Faucher Family's region and assumed each of their 1,000,000 bulbs were the average 5 watt C7 bulb. They then figured the lights to run for 4 hours each night and 30 nights in total. The estimated cost came out to be $686/hour and $82,320 for those bright 30 nights. A lot of money to get in the Christmas spirit!

With the Walky dog if Skyla pulls (to go see another dog / chase a cat/squirrel etc) she pulls at your weight which is over the seat. you are still fully on control of the bike and Skyla. With the handlebars if Skyla pulls (to go see another dog / chase a cat/squirrel etc) She pulls the handlebars out of your control. YOU get dumped face first into the road, possibly in the path of oncoming or following cars. You now have serious injuries and Skyla is either running free, or tangled up with you and bike in the middle of the road. OK so this is a worst case scenario, however as almost everyone says about offlead dogs. . . . IT ONLY HAS TO HAPPEN ONCE. Don't take the chance. YES I'm having a go because I'm scared and concerned for YOUR safety. Wait and take the time to set up the walkydog. PLEASE.
