  1. If he comes around again try to contain him in your garden and call the local dog warden they are on your local council website. They will take him away and try to find out who the owners are. They will be charged approx £50 per day. I think after 2 weeks they will go to a local shelter.
  2. Welcome the very best Husky forum in the WORLD !!!!! Great intro but we are gagging for pics.Don't be shy join in we don't bite (much). We are a worldwide family of Husky owners and lovers. Any help we can give we give happily and freely. look forward to seeing you around.
  3. Will do Karren, this was a bit of a 'reccy' to see if it was ok. Darwin was the Acid test coz he is an escape artiste extreme, he can find and get through a hole the size of a matchbox. The fence is good and secure So yes I think the next get together, will be there. Near to the tennis courts are some large playing fields a kiddies play area and six poo bins. Will PM you when we get it underway.
  4. Those are Halti head collars http://www.canineconcepts.co.uk/item--The-HALTI-Head-Collar--halti If we take them out individually they go out on thier half check collars. But when we are walking all 3 together the Halti give us so much more control.
  5. Ok thanks for the update Marc
  6. Welcome to the BEST Husky Forum in the WORLD. Don't be shy . . . join in. Great photos.
  7. Yep that's our Darwin. looking handsome. and yes Daughtry really is turning into quite the lady.
  8. Soooooooo jealous. . . We've had about half a centimetre of snow here in Oxford. great pix thanx for sharing.
  9. Happy Birthday to both, you are two gorgeous puppies.
  10. Andy, Kells, Mary R, and Isobel. Got together to test out a new location in Oxford. Cowley Marsh Park off the Cowley road. Mary R suggested it because it has an unused but fence intact set of Tennis courts. Remembered my camera (yay) and took a few pix. Darwin, Daughtry and Zac wasted no time in getting reacquainted. The dogs all had a great time burning off some excess energy. Even Echo joined in later showing no aggression just running around and enjoying herself. We all agreed this would be a great venue for a future meet. Thanks to Mary R for suggesting the site and to Izzy for being the most delightfully happy toddler in the world.
  11. LMAO I shop mostly at Tescos coz it's closest I take my ex to Asda coz she prefers it (once per week) I take my Step Dad to Morrisons coz it's his local. Tescos has better fresh meat n veg Asda has a better tins selection Morrisons deli and own brand stuff is pretty good
  12. Welcome to your new worldwide pack Thor
  13. Our 3 are always on leads. If anyone elses dog is off lead and heads our way, we simply shout out. "Get hold of your dog. Please. I'm holding them back, but if yours gets within teeth distance it's not my fault." You'd be surprised at how quick they run over calling them back and put them on leads.
  14. No probs just shout.
  15. Got rid of the harness too. . . better ??
  16. just tried the link on a works PC and it takes me to the correct ebay page. I think you may have some MALWARE which is trying to redirect your browser to some "naughty" pages. Try Ccleaner google it it's free, and Malwarebytes anti malware. Good luck
  17. So glad you got her back. We have found the NOT chasing thing to work very well. As long as they are not actively chasing something, then it's a good technique. Also consider using a police type lead. It has clip connectors at both ends. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Police-Style-Training-Double-Ended-Dog-Lead-Strong-Clip-/280590341714?pt=UK_Pet_Supplies_Dogs&hash=item41547cd652#ht_1873wt_1139 One clips on the harness and the other to the normal collar. It gives you extra stopping power should they "yank" and also if they do slip out of the harness they are still attached by the collar.
  18. Glad you had a great time, can't wait for the pix
  19. Wow, so jealous. We still haven't had more than about half a centimetre. DAMMIT . Looks like your pack are having an absolute ball out there in the snow. Thanx for sharing.
