First time at a dog park can be either the best fun your husky has had or a stressful encounter with lots of unknown dogs. Good idea to get her used to the place where she can run around without too many others and gradually build up the socialisation.

A lot of excitement with the change of owners. Having to meet new dogs. A change of diet, and water. All these will contribute to having a dodgy belly. He'll soon settle down. Small amounts and often, as always chicken (I know there are a few dogs on here that can't tolerate chicken, but they are a tiny minority)

Welcome to the Forum, best in the world. By far. We have two and an obstreperous White GSD. With another to play with, any problems you may have are halved. Just that extra bit of Husky company does wonders for behaviour, and socialisation. Can't wait for the pics.

Welcome Stacey, in all fairness you were trying to do what you thought (and was advised) was best for Aleu. She will recover and be her normal self again. If you need any help just shout. There are 6 other members of the forum in the derby area, maybe you could meet up and Aleu could get to meet some Huskies.
