Doesn't really matter which head collar you use, I've yet to meet an owner who said their Husky (or any dog for that matter) didn't go loony toons the first few times out. Flipping over, pulling backwards, twisting in circles. You simply have to persevere with them, they never really accept them but they do settle down. They really come into their own when we meet another dog on our walks, then we have one slightly aggressive GSD (Echo) and two excited Huskies (Darwin n Daughtry) When they are all leaping and lunging to try to play or eat the off lead dog then the Head collar really gives you some stopping power. We also do one on one lead training which helps improve them gradually, with the aim of taking them off the head collars. We have three to walk, and couldn't do it without the Halti's, without getting dragged face first through the mud.

If the rabbits can breed faster than your Huskies can eat them then it's not a problem.

Just Got Back from taking my Step-Dad Albert to the remeberance day in High Wycombe. He's not strong enough to take part in the Parade, but still wears his regimental Jacket, Beret and medals proudly every year. He served in India and Burma during the second world war in the Kings own 2nd Fusilliers (Tank Regiment) This year my 13 year old son Joined him in his Air Cadets uniform, Albert was so proud to have him stood by his side.

So happy to hear you got him back safe and sound. Darwin has escaped out of windows (he learned how to open them ) and dashing through legs as people came in the door. He also plays the "chase me" game. We DON'T chase him just approach calmly talking softly eventually he'll let us get hold.

Poor boy . . . you're doing the right thing. Starve him approx 24 hours, see what comes out of both ends. As long as there is no blood either in the vomit or stools, then he's probably just eaten something dodgy. If he doesn't perk up in 48 hours he might have something stuck in there. Yes Shadow will be ok, however he may howl and scream and shout because he's hungry. we boiled the chicken with the rice. the rice just acts as a filler to help him feel full, also absorbs a lot of the excess fluids in there. the chicken privides bland protein. RAW chicken wings work best for ours when they've been scavving stuff they shouldn't.
