Doesn't really matter which head collar you use, I've yet to meet an owner who said their Husky (or any dog for that matter) didn't go loony toons the first few times out. Flipping over, pulling backwards, twisting in circles.
You simply have to persevere with them, they never really accept them but they do settle down.
They really come into their own when we meet another dog on our walks, then we have one slightly aggressive GSD (Echo) and two excited Huskies (Darwin n Daughtry) When they are all leaping and lunging to try to play or eat the off lead dog then the Head collar really gives you some stopping power.
We also do one on one lead training which helps improve them gradually, with the aim of taking them off the head collars.
We have three to walk, and couldn't do it without the Halti's, without getting dragged face first through the mud.
