They are too clever by half. Darwin has learned how to open the single glazed windows. Nudge the bar at the bottom, climb completely into the window and use his teeth to open the locking handle. Push at window then . . . WHEEEEEEE freedom. £117 (approx $200) later to get him back from the dog pound. !!!! Now we've put screws through the window locking mechanism. Him and Echo learned to open all the doors ages ago. . .

Thanks for sharing that Emily. It's nice to see Huskies running free. As you say some you can trust, some you can't Darwin I wouldn't trust. Daughtry ONLY if we had Echo (surrogate mum) with us. AND there were no other dogs around. As a general rule of thumb, unless they are in a fully secure area, they are on lead. Great Vid though

Maybe try this. . . . Do you have any friends with dogs ? All of you get together to take your dogs for a nice rambling walk. As almost everyone here knows Echo (our White GSD) is dog aggressive. However we have taken her to loads of meets and walked her with up to 40 other dogs. She walks with, mingles, sniffs and generally gets on. It is a great socialising tool. Because they are all walking in the same direction there is no "face to face" confrontation. Then after the walk, go to the dog park and you should find that Smokey gets on a lot better. At first I would use a muzzle just to be safe.

First . . . What vehicle do you drive ??? Second. . . most pet stores sell a short lead attachment that goes though a seatbelt. Third if you have enough space in the boot, then yes, but get a proper FIXED divider so she can't jump over into the car. (assuming your boot isn't full up with tents n all your other camping gear.. . . lol)

Awwww bless, good girl Orca. Our Daughtry is naturally very shy, doesn't like crowds or loud noises. Rarely lets anyone pet her, outside of the family. So we know what you are going through.

We got a DAP collar (sounds exactly the same) for Echo as she was constantly fighting with Darwin. She did calm down considerably. This may well work for bonfire night stress. +1 for the suggestion
