As soon as I get out of the car Echo's head pops up at the window, doesn't matter if it is 3am or 5pm Daughtry starts a yowling , woo-ing and Darwin has usually locked himself in one of the bedrooms.(dumbass !!) Echo jumps up, paws on shoulders giving kisses Daughtry runs between our legs rubbing and woo-ing Darwin when we let him out gives us a low growly woo woo and lots of kisses.

Lol first was before the meet and once since. . . . First time he tugged backwards and his collar slipped over his head. Second time he was rubbing his whole body along the ground. . . "face surfing" and in doing so he unclipped his lead

Glad you got smokey back.. . . . Darwin has slipped out of his collar once and managed to unclip his lead from his collar by sliding along the ground. . . they really are four legged houdini's. . . . As long as Smokey isn't headed for the hills, when he gets loose. . . . DON'T CHASE HIM. If you chase him he will see it as a game and run away then past you and away again, forcing you to chase him. walk slowly and calmly towards him, talking in a low calm voice. when you get about 10 feet away crouch down or sit on the ground and call to him as if you would in the home. calm and happy.. . he should just trot over to you or allow you to approach and clip him on. Always slow and calm. It may take several approach attempts. before he calms down and realises you are not play / chasing him.

The breeder we got Daughtrry from we made a conservative estimate that they were making aproxx £40,000 per year, if each of her bitches were bred twice per year and had 5 pups per litter. @ £500 per puppy It wasn't thier main source of income either, just a sideline. Not long after we got daughtry we heard they were selling all thier breeding bitches. . . . we think the tax man had come calling for the undeclared income. . . . hmmmmmm

Kelly had an interview in town, so we took Darwin and Daughtry. Daughtry is very people shy so we thought the socialisation would help. Poor puppy was scared $h!tle$$. . .while she is used to meeting people in the street, being surrounded by a packed city centre full of Tourists, students and locals was a bit overwhelming. We sat in Bonn Square waiting while Kelly had her interview, and it was a non stop parade of Oooh's and Awww's Questions, petting, stroking, "can I take a picture" ?. Daughtry sat tight up next to me and was good, letting people pet and stroke her. Darwin though is a people slut he LOVES the attention, giving kisses and rubbing up against them like a cat. If I'd have sat in the same spot with any other breed, I'd have had one or two people stop to chat, Huskies though, a constant crowd. . . . want to learn to speak to strange people. . .(other than those on the forum. . . lol) Get a husky and sit in a crowded city centre.
