what Kelly means by whats the incubation period of distemper. . . perhaps Twinkie already had it when you got him, but did not present any symptoms for a couple of weeks after you got him. Thats why your other three have not shown any signs. . . .If it has a long incubation period your other dogs might now have it but be not showing yet. . . better get them to the vets and get some blood work done.

Yay, welldone on rehoming this poor girly. I'm sure once she's cleaned up and put on some decent food and starts learning some proper manners from Missy all will be well. As for renaming her, as she's an escape artist remember it has to be a name you can BELLOW down the road as she legs it off into the distance. If you don't feel comfortable screaming "FAIRY" down the road. (and please consider the accidental lawsuits as people take you to court thinking you were "outing" them in the street lol) personally I would be changing her name in a flash. Pearl is much better, but IMHO not much of a "Husky" name (lol. . .then again my pooch "Darwin" isnt very "Husky" either. lol. . .but like you we rehomed him and promised his previous owners that we would keep it) Good luck and well done

Ok my first day off this week and last available day to take my 13 year old son on some kind of half assed day on on half term. So a trip to the seaside. . . poole was chosen hoping that we might be able to meet up wiv Keath. . . the slacker was working nights and couldn't get up in time. . lol So Loaded up child ex wife and 3 dawgies and off we set. Got to Poole and rolled up trousers off with boots n socks and wahaaaaay paddling. Echo is Aquaphobic and will dance on her back feet around rain puddles in the park. . . but not today, splash splash splash up to her neck with Darwin n Daughtry. They all had a great time in the water. .
