There a Soooo many artists out there that I look at their work and just sigh with envy. But it makes me try that much harder to make mine just a little better. Keep at it.

    Thank you

Yep . . lol. . it was Koda putting out chocolate milkshakes that brought me to this Forum, I too am massively indebted to all and sundry here for the help and advice that has enabled me and Kelly to sidestep many screwups that I would have inadvertantly created trying to do the right thing for my Husky. Three Cheers for the Forum and its members. . .

    Moulting

Take him outside. . .on some grass and brush him thoroughly, once a day, even better if there is a breeze blowing to waft it away, but it will look like you've slaughtered a sheep
  15. Hey Charlie First welcome to the forums secon d well done for researching first before leaping into the Joys and tribulations of being owned by a Husky. On a quick side note I have a friend who lives Just outside of wellington. . .small world eh? ok your main thrust can we leave the husky alone for a long time. . . Short answer . . Not really Sibes are social animals they love to be around people and other dogs and get VERY stressed if left alone. This manifests itself in destruction of property and self harming. . Stripping the fur from the tail, chewing at feet and legs. If you've seen the movie Marley and Me the destruction in the movie is the least you'll get from a stressed bored Husky. if you have a secure back garden you could build a run. . Essentially a large caged area for them to be in while you are out. Dog walker great idea. . .a sibe needs up to 6miles of walking per day. More exercise lessens the chance of boredom and its effects. Possibly the best idea is to actually get 2 Huskies then they have company. . .you are not doubling the problem you could be eliminating it. if you have 2 and combine that with the dog walker you might just get away with it. Sorry for the extended lecture. . .but well you did ask. . Lol
  16. choose an standard household appliance and demosnstrate the idea on just one . . . By default the examiners will be able to see it working for all appliances.
  17. I think the main problem will be current induction mats work on quite low voltage. . .so ramping up that level of induction with out generating massive amounts of static. . . . Also in phones its the battery that is charged So each appliance will need to either be converted to a battery which charges from the induction. . . Or the induction grid will need to be able to generate 240 volts safely and the appliance can draw realtime full power from the grid
  18. Hey Marc, you are aware of induction mats you can use to charge mobile phones without cables. OK now imagine the whole house induction powered. The Kitchen worktops all fitted with induction grids all appliances then become wireless powered. Movemthe kettle or toaster or microwave or electric can opener wherever and simply use them. . .no need for wires n cables put it where you want and switch it on. living room . . .TV, stereo, PC all induction powered and add wireless comms between them for true wireless equipment. Imagine the revolution as the rats nest of cables. . . GONE !!!
  19. Welcome to the pack. Well done for taking on Rio and Max. Yeah, sounds like they just want the easy one back. Well done for keeping hold of Max, NOT necessarily because THEY still wouldn't be looking after him properly BUT. . . . Rio is used to the company of Max and Huskies get separation anxiety, Max is actually a stabilising influence on Rio for those times when YOU do have to go out. He has his friend and some company. In short he and Max are a pack.
