I walk Echo (2yr old white GSD) and Koda withe thier leads linked together. This morning Echo had done her buisness, both echo n Koda were sat nicely while I bagged up the small mountain that Echo drops, when. . . . echo spots a cat !!!!! she was off like a flash. . .poor Koda's legs going ten to the dozen trying to keep up but actually being dragged almost face first across the tarmac. cat shinnies up n over a fence echo n koda come trotting back nice as pie with grins on thier faces. . . Lol

It's not too surprising if she is losing weight if she is "loose". It's going through her with out processing properly. It's one of two things. . . As Sarah said possible overfeeding. . . .too much and not enough gets digested before the next meal. . . = runny poo. or. . . something in the mix. .(probably the kibble) that she is sensitive to, or is taking too long to digest before the next meal comes along. = runny poo. Raw chicken wings (best) or lightly boiled chicken with the boiled rice. Nothing else until she thickens up, NO treats, NO bisciuts, No leavings or scrapings off your dinner plates, No cheese or dairy. Eliminate everything that could be making her runny. Chicken n rice. Simple and plain She''ll howl like you're starving her. . . it's for her own good. Sorry for the lecture. . .just want her to get solid and healthy. Best wishes. ..

Without the forums we'd all be rehoming our furbabies, coz we'd be swimming in runny $h!t and trying to sit on the chewed up furniture. . .and wondering why this is all happening. But. . . . We DO have the forums, and the nutters (me!) and ALL the excellent advice and help and support. It's fookin brilliant.

I know Echo does. . .she's for ever sniffing it. . .

We recently did a weight vs. age comparison on the forums, and our Koda was the smallest for her age and weight. However She is healthy and well proportioned with plenty of energy. Sibes come in all shapes and sizes. don't worry too much about her size.

Give her a week of the Chicken and rice, let her have a t least a week of solid "Logs" before reintroducing kibble and only tiny amounts at first. Not even half a cup! and if she stays solid then VERY gradually increase the kibble to a normal amount for her age and size. Also DON'T give the kibble and chicken together . . .they process through the body at different speeds. The kibble takes MUCH longer. . .so if you give them at the same time when the chicken is done and is on its way out, then the kibble will come out as runny. Give Chicken in the morning and evening with TINY amounts of kibble perhaps at lunch, increasing as she stays solid. Good luck.

+1 Keath, great advice. Huskies are very social pack animals, they hate to be on their own. another dog, Husky or other breed will help. If it continues, the stress of being alone could turn destructive. This is one of the reasons so many Huskies end up being re-homed, because the people getting them do not research the breed before getting their "super cute ikkle puppy". and 6 -12 months later their solitary Husky has destroyed everything in the house. Hope it works out, follow Keaths advice. Good luck.

It really is pathetic. . .WE are asking to be segregated. . .WE WANT a seperate place where we can let our dogs off, where they can be controlled and contained. If we were a religion and being denied the right to follow our religion and denied a place to do it we could sue the ar$e off them.
