Hey, Claire. . .glad Luna is thickening up I think searching for the answer to the problem of your new Husky puppy that is dropping liquid loads is probably THE question and search on the internet that brings people to this site. . and the answer is almost always. . .boiled rice / probiotic yoghurt and raw chicken wings. The results are amazing. . we are keeping Koda off any kind of Kibble for a month or so, coz every time she manages to "scav" some of Echo's kibble. . . sloppy poo again. . .didn't bother phasing it out just stopped, and got her on RAW chicken. . .Job done.

I have one of these and I take Echo. . .our 2 year old White GSD out on it she loves the run. Can't take Koda on it yet coz she's too young but I can't wait for that.

Ok where do I start. . . in my time I have been. . . A cleaner washed dished in a school kitchen delivered frozen food door ro door but my main three are. . . projectionist at the cinema. . .startedmas a trainee and ended up after 10 yeras as a chief projectionist of a 9 screen multiplex. . . Fantastic job. . .my favourite Manager of a BP petrol station . . .well it was a supermarket with a petrol station attached. . .started behind the till and worked my way up to manager. long hours . . Underpaid and under appreciated. And finally. . . Sequence analyst at the BMW MINI plant at Oxford. i sequence body shells from Body in White (where they weld the bodies together) into the paintshop where I make sure each body is painted the correct body and roof colour. . .then follow them through until they go into asssembly where they get the wheels n engines n carpets n stuff. i sit in front of 5 PC's watching the flow of bodies to make sure it all moves smoothly. . . . And that's all I do after that I go home to my 3 girlies. . . .

Ok here's a thought. . .the water in the lake and the canal and the hose you squirt them with in summer and the paddling pool they romp in and out of is COLD water. . . in the bath do you all use WARM/ tepid water. . .although it's obviuosly not hot the warm temperature may be what is unnatural and upsetting for them. Try it cold if you get the same reaction then it is the bathroom. . . . or something else just occurred to me In the lake and the canal they are in control they can swim or wade etc. . .in the bath YOU are controlling them and that may make them nervous.

Are we talking official council built and sanctioned areas or anywhere that peeps have found and they deem suitable for huskies or just all dogs maybe we can give them a husky proof rating depending on facilities. . . fully secure . . .can let huskies off lead not secure. . .keep on lead water available. . .? poo bin available. . ? Car parking . . .yes/no any local restrictions. . .local residents only etc what kind of terrain. . .flat field, local forested area , open / closed beach etc anything anyone else can think of ??

hey Diz' like everyone else has said you're doin a great job only thing I can suggest is as much exersize as you can give him a, tired dog is a much less destructive dog .

thank you all for the REP points. 10 years ago I was a manager for BP (petrol station) so I had many courses on exactly what a manager can and cannot do. And how important it is to do everything especially disciplinary matters properly.. I know of cases where a tribunal upheld unfair dismissal and awarded a large payout simply because one of the witnesses at the original disciplinary had signed thier name in the wrong place. A manager stole £20,000 and because he was sacked whilst in prison for the said offence he was awarded £80,000 in compensation. crazy but true so Linda your boss is screwed but only if someone stands up to him and can get witnesses.
