LMAO dunc. . .we're learning stuff here, from yesterdays meet at Ipswich and todays at Manchester. We're looking at sites for a meet in Oxford, one of the things we've learned is when everyone is there to have a round robin of intro's Forum name, real name and Husky names. . someone to take notes and pix. Then we won't have such embarresing moments such as yours. . .lol Thanks for being the fall guy to help us learn.

Our first White GSD "Bear" was a BIG boy and was a real puller he was off like a freight train on walkies. . . so no worries

I think we're all addicted to posting now. It's amazing how quickly a bunch of complete strangers can become fast friends, that you spend more time chatting to than your own family. . . Two meets in two days in different parts of the country about thirty families and forty plus huskies. and all thanks to this site. . . I came here looking for just a bit of help and info and got a new family. . .

Yep We all got muddy, and wet, then more muddy. . This was Kodas first time meeting a bunch of other Huskies. At first her whole attitude was submissive around the other dogs and humans but as the day wore on she got more confidant and was playing and running with the pack. She spent most of her time play fighting with Suki, she was absolutely plastered with mud by the time it came to go home, a tired and very happy muddy pup. It was great to meet all of you guys and put some faces to the people who have made us laugh over these last few weeks since we joined the nuthouse. All of the other Huskies were just so friendly, especially Nanook who got VERY friendly with Kira . . .repeatedly. (got the pix to prove it. . .ransom demand will be PM'd to Rob) Andy, Kelly n Koda had a fantastic time. Can't wait for the next one.

Hey, Claire. Welcome to the pack. Luna is so lovely. Take a gander at the Food and Diet section you will find many different ideas on what to feed your husky. Read through them all and see what appeals to you and try it with Luna. We feed Koda our 16 week girly raw chicken wings at the moment coz she's been through some puddly poo times, so we are using that to get her solid again before adding anything else. We have a Husky and a 2 year old White GSD so we have both sides of your girls pesonality. Good luck

Yeah, definitely agree. Echo out 2year old White GSD gives off different sounding growl tones when telling Koda (Husky pup) to back off from her toys than she does from guarding food, or even "will you just sod off and give me 10 minutes peace. . .PLEASE!!"

So sorry to hear about your loss. People who don't have long time pets cannot appreciate how broken up you are when you lose your dearest pet buddy. "Huh, whats the problem it was only a dog" they say. NO!! it's a member of your family and one that has only ever shown you love and always looked up at you like you were the sunshine in his world. Rest in peace Nikita.
