We have the largest size crate we can get that folds down. All three of mine fit in there. There's no room for them to walk around in there just lying down. But most of the day they are outside attached to the tow hitch of the car only really in the crate overnight Inside either the caravan (when we rent one) or tent

My guys are never crated at home. but we do when we camp. My guys actively pull me to get back in the crate after a walk
