    Bitten

Yes food guarding is a common trait. Humans should take note of the growl and back off. I'm sorry Max got bitten. I myself got quite badly bitten a few years back trying to separate two of mine fighting. however I didn't blame the dog, but myself for not dealing with the situation correctly I hope Max hasn't been scared by Loki's reaction. Fingers crossed he heals quickly.
  4. Welcome. . . As Cooper grows and does strange things Probably not normal for a dog but quite normal for Huskies. Find the relevant section to post in and I'm sure you'll get lots of help.
  5. Have a fantastic camp.. and don't forget to post copious amounts of PIX
  6. OH, WOW !!!!!!! That is fantastic news. Keeping EVERYTHING Hooman and Husky crossed that everything goes perfectly.

    Cheeky Darwin

I know but seriously I have the worlds most boring dogs. they sleep and when they do do anything photo worthy by the time I get the phone or camera out. . . . . . moved, gone or fast asleep

  9. soooooo, who are you again Just joking bud. This place wouldn't be the same without you.
  10. I can sympathise. Sounds like you have your hands full. Good luck. Husky hugs for all your furkids
  11. It took Echo (white GSD) 2 1/2 years to fully accept Darwin (Husky) into the pack. We had bloodshed from daily fights. (both Husky / GSD and Human) But with much patience and determination we got there. Now they are best buds. Time and Patience

  14. Welcome. . . .We have a Full White GSD as well as two Huskies
  15. So Eden willow is having her "Matman" (think. . . Dinna, Dinna, Dinna,Dinna, Dinna, Dinna,Dinna, Dinna, Matman) anyhoo. . . getting back to the point. Darwin being the opportunistic cheeky chap that he is thought he would just sneak closer and closer and closer. . . So that if Eden Willow even blinked for a fraction of a second he'd be in like a flash. They never get Hooman food, not even scraps but it doesn't stop them from trying it on. Just out of the shot were Daughtry and Echo watching with Laser intensity in case Eden Willow should drop some.
  16. "You have reached your destination"
  17. That's so cool. Well done. Looks like the dawgs are loving it
  18. Darwin and Echo Exhausted after a day of lounging around, Sleeping and generally doing bugger all.
  19. With young grandchildren around it's the grandparents duty to sit through all manner of TV & movie material that you yourself may not like. Now suck it up and get on with it
  20. Only slightly worrying is that although the dog is a recent rescue, the family Must've been told it was a Husky. I'm sure the reporter wouldn't have just assumed it was a husky without being told by at least one member of the family.
  21. Thanks that would be great
