1. Yeah they do. Halo is one of their favourites to play. It's been good for them today as it has kept them distracted from the heavy rain and strong winds outside. Getting the worst of it at the moment as its heading south.
2. I'm in Central Qld and we have been stuck inside for 3 days in this horrible weather. Not the Australia Day I had planned. I've got my fingers crossed for it to be better weather tomorrow. My sons have their little Aussie flag and playing Xbox so they are pretty happy..LOL
3. Taste of the Wild is a good brand to feed. We can't buy it in QLD so I buy it online from Natural Pet Store which is in Sydney. There is also a Siberian Husky Club of NSW and a Facebook group/page called Sydney Malamute & Husky Owners
4. Check out the Facebook pages for Siberian Huskies in Australia. I am on 2 of them. Someone from Perth might be on there. One of my sister-in-laws live in Perth. It's beautiful there
5. Welcome to the forum. I think it's fantastic you foster these beautiful dogs. It's very sad to see so many without forever homes. I see the photos on the ABR Facebook page and wish I lived closer to be able to help them.
6. Our Keeva is Husky X Malamute. Bi-eyed with a parti-eye.
7. We lost our Meika back in July. For weeks afterwards i could not stop crying. The day of her passing kept replaying over in my mind. I could not sleep properly most nights as my dreams had her in them. During the day was the feeling of something missing. I can tell you that it does get better. I recently had a lady do a picture for me of her that we have framed and hung in our lounge room so that she will always be with us.
8. When the series first came out, my brother was a huge fan and i hadn't heard of it. So he gave the DVD to me and said i had to watch it. I am a fan of everything Jos Whedon has done. I was a fan of Buffy and never missed an episode of Angel. So i thought the series must be good. Well, from the very first episode i was hooked and watched every single episode after the other into the early hours of the morning cause i could not stop watching it. I still can't believe they canceled Firefly after one season
9. I LOVE Watching Supernatural!! I never miss it and always buy the seasons as soon as they are out on DVD We have the latest season start on Monday for us Aussies. Can't wait
10. This is my Keeva in his elf costume last year. He loved it and our only husky who didn't mind being dressed up. Meika hated having anything on her so you can imagine how excited i was when Keeva turned out to be easy going
11. I always have him on my left using the left hand so that i am between him and the traffic and go with the direction of traffic. It means he will always be safe.
12. So very sad when i heard that he had passed away He was a great actor.
13. 1 year ago i finally convinced my husband to let me have another husky. We found the perfect little boy who is now our Keeva. Husband contacted the breeders and had made arrangements on when was a good time to visit. Its a 2hr drive there and he had to go on his own as i had to stay here to pick kids up from school. So i left it up to him to contact them. When he had it all organized he sent me a text that mentioned what he wanted in return for going (if you know what i mean) but it was sent to the wife of the breeder team instead. My Husband was so embarrassed and to make it worse he still had to go meet her in person.
14. We have a Dyson Allergy and its the best vacuum we've ever owned. Love it!!
15. Our Meika showed signs of her hip dysplasia at 5 months old. Her hips started making a sound sometimes when she walked. She was very active and didn't seem to be in pain. We had x-rays done and it confirmed it.
