Hi Cody from Kodi!!

Kodi caught a wood pigeon last night in the garden, we took it off him, he seemed to be a bit stunned himself. He vomited later on so whatever he swallowed didn't agree with him at all. It was a bit upsetting as that is the first time he caught anything.

This Kodi asleep after his op. I have no idea why marble is comfortable as a pillow!

It's amazing how they manage to clean themselves, even during the winter snow Kodi always seemed to look clean. I have only bathed him once in 9 months and clean his paws/underneath with a towel if he needs it and he always looks clean! Brushing regularly also helps!

Well it is day 3 for us today and Kodi is in great form. He chewed through the cone and I took it off last night as it was really annoying him, but he is much better without it and not bothered with the wound so that's good.

Ahh thanks for the response, I feel reassured now, he has a little patch on his leg from the anaesthetic also. He seems fine today pain wise but it is the huge cone that is driving him absolutely mad. I am afraid of him picking up any infection if he goes outside...I'm afraid to let him go to the toilet on the grass. How long did you keep your's inside?

Kodi was neutered and I was wondering how long it will take for the fur to grow back underneath where they shaved. Also he does not have a dressing on the wound it's open to the air is this always the case?

Kodi had his op today poor little pet. He has a huge collar on and is sleeping with the odd whimper

Thanks I will check these out!. He had it on for his wallk this morning...great and I went out for an hour and left it on him for him to get used to it, when I came back he had chewed the strap. He hates harnesses, it takes me ages to get it on him.

Well I was delighted to get the new Ezydog harness this morning in the post .........it has lasted one day as he chewed through it. The last harness he had only lasted a week! He hates them. Has anyone any recommendation for a leather harness or any other indestructible ones

Kodi will only eat Orijen kibble does not like TOTW Loves: Sardines in olive oil, salmon, mackerel, fish oil, raw carrot, raw steak, bacon, gammon, boiled chicken and rice, tomatoes, red peppers, cheese, dentastix, gravy bones, yoghurt. Hates: TOTW kibble, Tuna, cooked pork, green peppers, potatoes
