Yes,bathing definitely helps. We bathed all our 4 last Friday, and loads of fur then came out.It was a windy day,and the garden had fur flying around everywhere,we felt awful for the neighbours!.:eek:Took them all out for a walk and brushed them and loads more came out.Same next day,so yes,it definitely helps loosen the hair and speed up the process!!
Wow,more great pics.Looks like an amazing place ,so many critters, and aren't you lucky living so close.Looks like your granddaughter had a wonderful time too!!
Yes,think that is part of the key to having huskies. You need to be around them most of the time.Ours are rarely left alone (having a big family helps)and if they are left it is never for much more than an hour or so.Still think you deserve a medal though!!
:hello:and and :wow2:,What a stunning husky pup you have!!.( not forgetting the other one is gorgeous too ,just love golden retrievers, they are such lovely ,normal dogs!!)
Well thank you for that advice.I will certainly try to train them but might be tricky.I have lost count of the times I have witnessed them gobble down mice, voles, shrews and the odd mole.Usually alive and kicking at the time too.!!.Not sure if they will realise the hamster is a pet!!Luckily for him he is in a cage! :eek:Just hope he never escapes!
Well that's encouraging as we have just got a hamster for my daughter( against my better judgement!!).She is keeping him upstairs in her bedroom,so far ,so good( had him just a week though) ,but I'm afraid that if the pack get a whiff of him, they will be onto him. They are not allowed upstairs, but I have visions of them waiting at the bottom of the stairs or lying outside her bedroom!! .Will keep you posted!
Lol,we have all just laughed at this post, hilarious!!.btw, how do you manage to keep guinea pigs and huskies together?is it difficult?!.Always imagined huskies would try to kill anything small like that!!
Thank you! It is their favourite hobby and what they love doing most:rolleyes:.Luckily (for the mice!!!) they haven't caught any in a while, but if they had it wouldn't be on camera!!
:(So sad to read you have just lost another beautiful husky,it has indeed been a hard year for you..She must surely be in a better place, because I can't imagine a heaven without dogs.
I have noticed today that the videos posted from You tube are now appearing as cut in half when posted,so when watching, you only get half the picture:confused:.Is it anything to do with the ad appearing in the right hand corner?.Has anyone else noticed this ??Anyone have an explanation??
HuskyHijinx .Aww Nanci, you may not have puppy pics of him but the change is just as great. He looks a million times better,in both his appearance and the look on his face.Well done on giving him such a better life!
:rolleyes:Unlike here then, where it's always a bit chilly with your shorts on!!.Can't help being jelly of your dry weather, know I shouldn't complain but we have just had our 1st dry week all Summer.!.However,all back to normal again today with heavy showers, wet dogs ,muddy paws etc! What a relief as I was getting used to the dry weather and we don't want that do we?!!
