Great pic!.Know what you mean about Skylas coat.Mystie looked so bald we actually stopped taking pics of her:eek:,her tail was like a rats tail,honest!!.:rolleyes:They look sooo much better when they are Fluffy!!

We think 4 is definitely better than 1!!.:rolleyes:As everyone rightly says,huskies are contagious!!We find we have non stop playing with ours.They pair up differently all the time,sometimes it's the 2 youngest,sometimes the 2 older ones,all very often a threesome or even a foursome.They can be left happily for 3 or 4 hours and have NEVER been destructive.Our garden is really tidy,considering,just bare patches on the lawn where they have peed alot!!:eek:When they are out walking,they play like crazy and then carry on in the garden the same.Consequently they are very calm and sleepy when inside,and seem very contented!! Occasionaly we have the odd argument over a toy or chew,but they all know their place in the pack and are generally very good.Be persuaded and have another one,really 2 would be a doddle!!

They were such lovely pups!!It's a shame their colours and masks change so much,I always think.Our Sass had a lovely brown stripe down her nose but at this moment(She turned 1 yesterday)it's almost gone:(.Funnily enough,our Sass and Lycan are full brother and sister too,but from different litters!!.In our case Sass is the big sis,and Lycan her baby bro!!

Hi Everyone, We are considering buying a walking belt.Now that Lycan is getting bigger,one person trying to walk 4 huskies is proving tricky!! .Can anyone recommend a good walking belt,and where to buy from etc.Do they have attachments for 4 huskies and are there any makes that are better than others? Any advice would be welcome. Thank you, Karen.

Ours are off lead 3 or 4 times every day.We walk them in the same places most days but they are free in fields,woodland,and the famous Celtic Manor Golf course(Home to the Ryder Cup last year).We take them to the beach sometimes,and they are off lead there too.The only problem I have is with Thunder and other male dogs,cos he will run straight up to them,and can be a bit aggressive.I would not let them near sheep or other livestock,but their recall is generally no different to other dogs,and even when chasing squirrels,,on one occasion a fox,and mice /rabbit hunting etc,they always come back.The girls,especially Mystie,are excellent,and Lycan at present WILL NOT leave my side,even refusing to follow the other 3.It's actually a problem at the mo,cos my husband can't walk him without me.He has to drag him away from the house,and keep him on lead the whole walk or he will just run straight back home.He took him out with my neighbour yesterday,without me,and she has a husky too,so there were 5 huskies,but they only just stopped him from bolting back home.It's a little worrying,he is 5 months at mo,but I am going back to work in Sept,and it will be Jon who walks them in the morning,so we don't know what will happen.I am trying to wean him off me over the next week,by not going out with him in the mornings,but 2 days ago my daughter had to bring him back,cos he refused to walk!!.What am I going to do with him??.No probs off lead there then!!
