  1. Fab,can never have too much bling, and huskies don't seem to mind!!Happy to wear anything I think!!
  2. Can I have that in writing please!!.I will remember that in the darkest of Winter, when I am cleaning 4 muddy huskies!!
  3. Our baby boy Lycan, growing up fast, but still so cuddly!!
  4. People can give you all the advice in the world, but only you can make the final decision. As a mum I completely sympathise with you.We all love our dogs dearly, but nothing comes before your children.Be heartened by the fact that there are a lot of good ,loving homes about, and Rosie is young enough to adjust. At least no harm has come to either Rosie or your daughter, and that's the main thing.Best Wishes, Karen
  5. In our''expert''opinion(LOL),We think the blaze may well stay, but maybe the panda patches will change. Our husky Thunder had eye patches at 8 wks, not as dark as Mavericks, but they are gone now.:(Time will tell. Will have to keep updating us with pics!!
  6. LOL,All I can say is spoilt rotten!!.What is that saying about having a dogs life??!!.Looks like a good one to me!!
  7. Beautiful pup with great markings, will be interesting to see how much they change as he grows!!
  8. How did you get then to keep still, must have been sleeping!!Does anyone else get a chance to sit on a sofa??!!
  9. LOL Tim!!.Sounds so funny.!!!.Wish we had been there! !Might take a bit of planning that one, especially 6 sibes on a beach!! Will consult my planner, kids hols, your job,Damians job and Jons shifts.Maybe next year??.Ha Ha,only kidding!!
  10. Such a gorgeous pack you have there Suzanne.Love their masks and their harnesses!!.Is the cute fluffy one called Indi? She is so lovely,I want her !!
  11. Great pics Tim!!.Looks like they both enjoyed it,it does make a wonderful change from grass, don't you think.!! I know ours were all shattered and slept all the way home. When we got back, they just continued their nap for another few hours!!
  12. Thank you. Our oldest husky Mystie (Just turned 3) is really good off lead, and listens well to us.The others tend to follow her.Sass is also good off lead, and I trust them both. The pup,Lycan, doesn't even follow them at present,he sticks close to me,but he's only 3 months old.Thunder is the most cloth eared ,and because he is an unneutered male,he is always interested in other dogs,so we keep an eye on him.I do wonder if he would be better neutered. We have let them off lead since they were pups,so they don't know any different. I don't believe they would just mindlessly run off.We walk them through a big wood every day,and although they chase things, they come back. There is a vid on Utube about a pack of huskies, called the Lowland pack. They are the ones you would NEVER let off a lead.Ours are nothing like them,so I think it's all about individuals too. Whether it's right or wrong ,it's what we do,and I suppose only time will tell.
  13. We got there at exactly 12.20pm,which was low tide.Beach was pretty much empty except for a few fishermen. We walked all along it and it was really quiet at the bottom end,but we did see another husky and malamute that were also off lead on the beach!!Not suprised you got sunburnt though,it was quite a scorcher today!!:rolleyes:Silly Billy, where was your sun cream??!!
  14. Enjoy the early days while you can!!.Just wait till they get to about 3 weeks old, then the fun really starts!!:eek:Still, small litters are a bit easier!!
  15. We are quite lucky, this particular beach(Ogmore by sea),is a 40 min run from us,and it's dog friendly all year round. It's really big,and fairly quiet too midweek.Just have to make sure you check the tides first!!.
  16. Great pics, looks like you had a fab day out!!.
  17. Beaches are great if you remember to check the tides first!! We all piled into the car last week, arrived and was rather suprised to find that there was no beach!!.Oops!.Had arrived when tide was in!!!.Our beaches are very tidal. We had to have a cliff top walk instead ,which was nice, but damned sheep everywhere,so no off lead for Tundy boy that day,and just limited for Sass and Mystie.Lycan couldn't hurt a fly at mo so he had a great time running about, but kept getting a bit too close to the edge of the cliff for my liking!!.:eek:This time we checked the tides on line first, and timed it perfectly!!Nothing like learning by your mistakes!!
  18. Suppose it's just easier than taking them on and off.If I take them out by myself with my girls,I tend to use leads, cos I find Thunder too strong with his harness, but then he pulls and keeps choking himself.Jon prefers the harnesses but I must admit, they walk really well for him and don't pull. With me and the girls it's a different story!
  19. Sassy is our little fox, must admit, she is my favourite girl too!!
  20. Where indeed!!.Getting a little concerned about the size of his paws,:eek:they are almost bigger than Thunders, and he is just 3 months old!!
  21. Here are a few pics from our 2nd trip to the beach yesterday!
