  1. I've had an issue with my back since birth, finally had a diagnosis 10 years back where i was told i had "dehydrated Discs" basically flat pads between my vertebra, i tend to get trapped nerves and stabbing pains down one side of the body from the hips down and on the odd occasion my back just goes for several days. When it strikes if its so bad i cant sleep i go to the docs and ask for a high concentration ibuprofen (small injection in the backside) this normally gives instant relief, ask them when you are there. if its not upsetting my sleep i tend to just go with it, just take ibuprofen and co-codimal during the day and a wee drop of liquid morphine at night which pretty much knocks me out (again ask the doc they may be willing to give it you, i had to beg in the end ) With regards to sleeping, if its playing up i normally spend the night on the floor, its not exactly comfortable but after a while the pain normally reduces. Wish you all the best in finding something that works, i feel your pain.
  2. haha it was amazzzzing! but i was terrified
  3. Soooo my neighbor just offered me a quick spin in his car for helping him fix the garage door, a Stage 4 Nissan GT-R (620 bhp) ... couldn't resist saying yes Now i drive a 1.4 Diesel Fiesta so i know what true speed is an acceleration feels like but HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYY SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH*TTTTTTTTTTTT! When i left the house i was about ready to go to bed, i now find myself here on the forums as my heart and body will not come down from that high, hands still shaking, wide awake. Never in my life have i felt acceleration like that, a road my car takes 20 or so secs to travel flashed before my eyes with a blur i can only liken to star trek, the MPG display read 1.5... it was all fun and games driving down the country lanes until he said Ohhh a red light, took a quick U turn and said I'll show you the Launch Control. It was a feeling i can hardly describe (but i'll try), my heart was in my throat and i felt this childish feeling of joy, like Christmas morning before the big present is brought out, pinned to the seat grinning from ear to ear watching the streetlights wizz by like a string of fairy lights. Overtaking cars that were already breaking for the corner, that car just sticks to the road and seems to forget that after 50mph comes 60, 70 etc, nah its 50 then 100, rockets past the car, slips in breaks takes the corner then off again before the other car has even turned (mildly terrifying the first time, and second tbh) I should mention we had clear sight that the road was clear ahead after the bend. After feeling that I am so much more envious of Lewis and the boys in F1 than i ever have been, one of the best experiences (if not utterly terrifying) i have ever had. Never would i trust myself behind the wheel
  4. Welcome to the Forum! When i first got Kody i used the crate only when i was out, when home the door would be open and it was entirely his choice to use it or not, I always fed him in the crate so he new it was a good place to be. Whenever he had to be crated I would make sure he received loads of praise and a treat when i returned. Never use the crate as a punishment it should always be a safe place for them to go, a happy place. Fast forward to today and Kody uses his all the time, when i go out (except for work as he comes with) i never need to lock the door, if he sees me getting ready to leave he is already curled up inside, and to this day i always feed him inside it. Whenever i put the food in the bowl he runs off and is waiting ready and waiting in the crate. Best of luck with the puppy, i had Kody at 3 months and they can be a right handful, but the end result is worth every accident, chewed up shoe and wrecked sofa
  5. - Wine ... + Whisky = Nailed it
  6. Probably should have stopped him instead of filming but it was too cute not too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMVjcdbLUgk Someone doesn't want to share with Dakota
  7. Kody's go to treat is raw carrots and raw sweet potato, he will take these over everything (except cheese). I would check the feed guides for those trays, as 4.5 seems quite high (this of course depends on his activity levels)
  8. you have one more follower
  9. Its such an amazing place, I lived over there for 4 years in Zurich, hopefully get back there again at some point! Its such a Dog friendly place as well, still remember going for a Pizza and the table next to me had a Husky with them, staff brought him his own dinner and drink
  10. Really? How can a Swiss national give that up for dreary old England
  11. Not sure if you have seen this or not, but may appeal to some of you who fancy a trip to the Alps (furbabies are welcome too!) http://www.dailymail.co.uk/travel/article-2692635/The-quirky-Swiss-hotel-lets-rent-room-huskies.html Annoyingly this place was less than an hour from where i used to live and i had no freaking idea!
  12. Haha Calm isn't the word, never known such a placid husky, Loves his walks and his play fights when i have a sock in my hand aside from that he just wants to bend himself in weird shapes against the wall By the way, Love the videos, watched them all now
  13. Man i wish Kody would play like this, if i throw a ball he just rolls over :/
  14. So while looking back at my Imgur favorites i started to notice a trend, I think i have a problem Slight deviation from the norm but still ... This is but a wee selection ... anyway thought you would appreciate
