  1. My boy was exactly the same in the last few weeks of my pregnancy. He would nuzzle gently at my bump, as if to say hurry up. Dogs are amazing at picking up on even the smallest change and will adapt there behaviour accordingly. Take the introduction slowly and use lots of treats and praise. I sent a blanket home that my daughter had been wrapped in before I brought her home, we also brought a rope toy with her for my boy. He had a sniff of her then layed down near her Good luck with the birth of your little one
  2. I'd also recommend putting a ball in her bowl. My girl "wolfs" her food down too and this really helps.
  3. Welcome to the forum Congrats on your new fur baby
  4. I had my beautiful boy cremated, then sprinkled his ashes in our woods (his favourite place).
  5. Oh the new parent woes. I'd let him out when ever you hear him stirring or every 3/4 hours for a few weeks. As for the pooing It depends on the individual pup, you'll get to know your pups routine. During the day I'd let him out every 30mins to a hour, when he does toilet outside praise him and make a fuss of him. Also ignore any accidents and make sure you clean them up with a proper pet disinfectant, so as not to encourage him to toilet again in the same place. Is his crate covered ??? if not I'd definitely recommend it. You could also put a sweater or something that smells of you a night. Just give him time he is very young and as been taken away from everything he's ever known, so it will take him time to settle in.Congratulations on your new pup he's adorable
  6. Well done to you for fostering. Lou thats fab that you'll get regular updates on your girl
